    good recessed light fixture This was ordered to replace an old Juno TC102 fixture whose thermal protector had gone bad. It took about 15 minutes to connect the wires and install it into the existing opening. 5Pleased with Juno's no-nonsense approach... Compared with the "new construction" Halo boxes I'm familiar with, the Juno "remodel" housing seems a step up in material quality.I only needed one of these -- for installation over a shower -- and for the most part, I like what I see: -- Packaged in nothing more than a sealed plastic bag -- Height adjustable via two wing nuts inside the housing -- fits a variety of bulbs or ceiling heights -- Rigid, heavy gauge construction -- Sturdy screw socketJuno didn't mess around with fancy retail packaging or instructions. They don't include any wire nuts or cable clamps. Housing, one pace instruction sheet folded into the j-box, and a template. The decals inside provide all the bulb rating and wet/damp rating info.The installation goes just as you might expect, with the exception of the three push-tabs that lock the housing in place -- it wasn't initially clear to me that they needed to be pushed flat with the insides of the cans, and doing this takes a modest amount of thumb pressure. It wasn't until the third one clicked into this position that I went back and pressed a little harder on the others. With that, the light is sturdy as it gets.Juno does only warrant this housing with Juno trims, but uses a conventional "torsion spring" style of mount, if you're planning to experiment with other brands. 5Good for 250 W bulb I used it for 250W heating light. 5Much better than Halo offering I don't usually write reviews, but given that this product has none, I felt it was important to do so. I purchased this item after several attempts to get the Halo version of this installed. If you go to HD or Lowes, Halo are the prominent in-stock cans for the 6 in size, but the clips on them make them almost impossible to install. Read the reviews on the HD website if you need further evidence of this. The Utilitech cans are very good, but I have yet to find a 6 in Utilitech can.So, I gave this one a shot knowing that Juno have a great reputation. In short, this can installed perfectly and it took about 5 minutes. The cut-out is slightly larger (approx. 0.5 in) than most 6 in cans, so you may need to open up your hole a little bit, but this is quick work with a drywall saw. The quality of the product is excellent and, compared to the Halo option, you can tell the difference in quality (weight, materials, design etc).I purchased this with the "25W-WH 6-Inch Straight Downlight Baffle White with White Trim", which is also available from Amazon and fits perfectly this can perfectly. You can get this with the can for $25 on Amazon, and that is a great deal. 5Five Stars great for tight spaces. just not air tight 5
