    Five Stars 5Great guides but a total fail on the Bosch RA1181 I wanted these to work so much. I tried to make them work on the Bosch router table RA1181. The issue was the Bosch fence. The first problem is the T-Rail isn't flush to the MDF board fence wall so I added (3) 1/16 nylon washer to compensate. The next problem is that the T-Rail is positioned so high that when I successfully got the Jessem guides installed, there was still a distance of 7/8" between the roller and the table top. Regrettably I must return these guides. 5Quality product.Decided to try these as I've found featherboards on the router fence more annoying than helpful. These stock guides are a definite improvement and make for a more smooth passage of the work across the router table. Build quality is quite good and the guide assemblies have a real heft to them. The t-track on my Kreg fence sits slightly behind the working surface of the fence, so I had to shim the guides with a washer on each of the t-bolts--easy fix. Without shimming the guide assemblies would tilt away from the fence along the bottom as the knobs were tightened. This is just a quirk of my fence design. A flush-mounted t-track would require no shimming.Only quibble I have is that my kit arrived with only one of the knurled knobs broached for the included hex wrench you might want to use for setting the roller height. For extended routing a bit of extra tightening can be a good idea to prevent vibration loosening the knob. If your hands are getting a little arthritic the added leverage given by the hex wrench can be a real help. This product packaging error is minor, and is the only reason for my 4-star rating, but I'm not alone here as I came across a few other complaints with regard to missing hardware or other product problems with JessEm kit while researching router lifts, tables, and fence systems. Given the costs, more attention to detail would be welcome.4If you don't have some get some!These are necessary for running material through a table planer, or a table saw. They do a fantastic job of keeping the material down on the table, and preventing it from kicking back. I don't know about how well it keeps things against the fence because I use it with feather boards, but it does a great job of staying down. The instructions work well, you can use the same allen as the Incra lift to tighten the handle down. I would recommend using an allen because they will see a lot of upward force from time to time when you are using them to hold down long material when you are by yourself. Must have!5Easy to use, improves safety and finished cut!Well I found this to be a flat out great addition to my router table setup. It works perfectly with my Kreg fence makes routing stock much safer and encourages a great finished cut. I highly recommend this!5Exactly what you need for router table feed controlI saw these at my local Woodworkers and got a pair to try on my BenchDog Router Table & Fence. Install was as easy as sliding them into place and setup for hold-down pressure, which was so much easier and quicker than feather board setup. I later added a second pair and now have two on the in-feed side and two on the out-feed side of my fence - works PERFECT. Hold down pressure is easy to set (even using four), adds anti-kickback protection, and the 5 degree cant pulls my work solidly into the fence without making the feed too difficult - great balance. In use I was pushing several 12' pieces through while making complex molding, due to the length I had to pause and walk to the out-feed side and pull the last bit through - with these guides there was no burning, and no deviation where I'd paused, perfectly smooth like I'd used and auto feed. As an added benefit, when needed I can use them on my table saw fence as well. Jessom makes another great product would highly recommend!5Excellent!These guides are very nice and work excellently. The guide wheels only turn one way, so avoid kick-back and they are angled to force the workpiece against the fence and put pressure to hold the workpiece down to the table. The expense makes them unique in my experience, but they are also uniquely effective. Really great--after the fashion of all of the Jessem equipment I have!5A Great Tool for the Router TableThese things have come CLOSE to completely replacing my feather boards. They are super easy to install, super convenient to lift up and out of the way, and work really well. If you're not working with dead flat lumber (which unfortunately happens when you've got limited options...) the downward and inward pressure isn't totally consistent across the whole board, so on the really important cuts I like to toss a feather board on to add more inward pressure towards the fence. Don't be afraid to really push down on them when setting them on your work piece and you will likely not be disappointed. Overall I love these things and would recommend to anyone.5No for Bosch tablesGreat quality, but it does not work with Bosch router tables.3Probably one of the best purchases I have ever made.I have these mounted to my DeWalt DWE7491RS table saw via a large aluminum T-track (see photo under my DeWalt review). It works fantastic. Unfortunately, my saw doesn't have wide enough fence for the Jessem table saw rollers......so this is my next best option. It sits tight up against the fence, but you can get more depth by just inserting a piece of 3/4" mdf between the roller guide and the fence (you will need longer t bolts). I also replaced the fancy knurled aluminum knobs for triangular plastic ones for better grip.5Impressive accessory. This was mounted on my router table fence, where it works beautifully to keep the wood straight and tight against the fence. This is a well made tool that will last. It did not fit on my Incra Jig fence, only because that fence has a nonstandard sized, small, and useless track. So I replaced it with an aluminum fence that has several standard size tracks, and the JessEm stock guide fits easily. 5Works great for my Incra Fence systemI have A Incra system on both my table saw and my shaper, due to the lower profile on the Incra fences I couldn't use my various feather boards I own, and had to make my own which worked but I saw these and thought why not give it a try , and I could return them if they didn't work. Well they are an awesome addition to my. incra fences, infact I no longer use feather boards to push the stock into the fence as the offset rollers pull the stock into the fence with a nice bit of force. I had to run a 12' board through my shaper, and I always set up extension tables for this type of work as support. I have 2 sets of these Jessems, due to an order error, (not amazons issue- another mail order place took my order, lost it, and then shipped them to me after canceling my order) so I set up a pair on both sides of the fence - locked everything down and ran the board through with NO problem, it stayed tight against the fence. They are quick to adjust. Two cons, they aren't for stock over an 11/4" on my Incra fences and do not use the Allen wrench they supply to tighten it on your fence, I ended up causing a slight mushrooming on one my fences that I ended up machining out. 5 stars as they work as they are advertised!5Buy them! Better than featherboardLove these! Recently had an accident on a router table and these give me peace of mind. Only thing I don t like is when you re routing a 3/4 inch piece vertically. The guides barely catch the outer edge of the piece. But it does work and I like the fact that the wheels lock should the piece kick back.5
