Customer Reviews

Great If The Price Is Right Warehouse sales price plus a further discount made this purchase worthwhile, especially when I wanted a spout that would rotate 360-degrees instead of the existing fixed in place neck. A ceramic disk for the valving will help avoid problems with my hard water leftovers as I only filter with a 5 year life cartridge for this faucet spout (and use that prefiltered water in a steam distiller to produce pure water).Used the adapter cover for larger holes and installation was straight forwarded but two persons help out with positioning in place as the other tightens the holding nut under the sink. In my case I used masking tape in place of a second person to hold alignment and when that wasn't enough, I used a wood clamp and more masking tape to keep the wood clamp in place while I tightened the water connecting nut which could cause the entire assembly to move and mess up your faucet handle alignment. I didn't bother installing the parts for the water connection because the old spout had the same setup for connecting except the inserts were brass and probably make for a more secure connection. The spout does rotate 360 degrees and I don't suffer a after drip problem some have mentioned. Action on the handle lever is nice. I found the spout neck to be a little sloppy in its seat and can be wiggled around but other than that I see no problems.Might mention the water line that feeds the house has a typical water pressure reducing valve on it (Zurn-Wilkins) set at 50psi versus the 120psi street pressure feeding it (120psi great for fire hydrants but tough on toilet, sink, shower and washing machine valves).I have an antique brass main sink faucet with side spray but a matching filtered faucet was expensive even with discounts since the brushed nickel seems to blend right in and was around $15, suits me fine. 4Doesn't work with all ispring filter system We bought the ispring cu-a4 filter which is NOT a reverse osmosis filter system. This faucet does not work with that model filter even though it said it works with all ispring regular filters that are not reverse osmosis. It doesn't. This faucet has 1 hose input in the bottom but the cu-a4 needs a faucet with 3 inputs. So if you have a 4 stage filter system (that is not reverse osmosis) this faucet will not work unless you buy a pressure regulator. We called ispring to see what to do and they said to install a pressure regulator if your water pressure is over 45 psi then the system can stay pressurized all the time and be fine. That will allow us to use this faucet, but it's a hassle to install that way and you need to buy a pressure regulator that works. The ispring pressure regulator was recently taken off the Amazon website for not working at all. 3Well made, easy to install. (see update) The faucet has a very substantial base and a tube portion that seems somewhat less substantial, but will probably not be subject to much abuse. There is an O-ring on the base that barely contacts the opening in my countertop. It seems to be sealed, though. I would recommend a long-handled nut driver or deep socket (that's what I used) to install. The only thing that I would change is that the washer on the underside of the counter that holds the faucet in place is plastic. I would have preferred metal.Update (2017): started leaking after about 3 years, so I had to replace it. 5Great faucet / Great customer service Bought this faucet because of the water out of the refrigerator would take too long to come out. This faucet is not only great looking but it works great! I installed an under sink filter with it and it was pretty easy to install. After installing it, I couldn't tighten it enough on my steel sink, so I posted the question here on Amazon and the seller responded to contact them. I did I they sent me extra washers and to try. But the truth is that since is very tight under the sink I wasn't getting it tight enough. I asked my neighbor who is a plumber and he lent me his "basin wrench" withthat tool I was able to really tighten the wingnut. Really the extra washers were not needed but I really appreciate the seller trying to help. I highly recommend this product. 5Newer replacement faucet for your thick counters! We have been long time owners of the iSpring RO system. We moved into our new home, and of course, I took our RO system with us. We have new quartz counters and I was very sad to find out that our old faucet's thread was not long enough to clear our counters. Andrew advised us that the new faucets that are shipping are 3 inches long, while the older one's are 2 inches. Placed a new order and the faucet came very quickly. Some new things to note.- 3 inches long for those thick countertops.- The mounting system is much better than before. Previously, you had to use the tiny plastic base on the bottom and use a wrench to turn the nut. Now, the plastic/nut is built into one piece so you can get it tight with just your fingers! Skips one of the most frustrating parts of the install- Wider trim piece on the bottom of the faucet to cover larger drilled holes in countertops.1- Same brushed look, great quality. I'm sure this new faucet will last years like our old one did.Thank you, we can continue to enjoy our RO system! 5Easy Install and Working Great. Good service from iSpring I got this to go with my plumb-in espresso machine. I figured that as long as I was going to have filtered water and be running tubing, I might as well have filtered drinking water, too. I've used John Guest fittings for most of my system, so hooking up to this faucet was easy. A quick call to iSpring got me a 3/8 (size of my tubing) to 1/4 adapter (the nipple on the faucet) and I had it in hand (for free) when I was ready to do the install a couple days later. No leaks. Water pressure is really good. I'm satisfied. The only hard thing about the install was going through my 1-1/4" concrete/epoxy counter tops. Whoa, that was a drag. I'm glad I only needed a 1/2" diameter hole. So far everything is working great. 4 stars and if keeps working this well I could see coming back and adding another star (of course that works both ways. If the faucet takes a dive, I'll be sure to let you all know). 4Started leaking after a month This product started leaking and try to fix it twice since my husband is a plumber but keeps leaking and there is no way we can return it now and it been only a month 1Verify the size of your existing supply to your facuet before installing. This is an acceptable product for the money. I would have given five stars if the unit came with several common connection fitting options, but it does not. It only comes with a 1/4" OD X 1/4" OD coupling.Installation: Before installing be aware if you are replacing an existing reverse osmosis water faucet that has a different supply size such as 5/16" or 3/8" supply to the faucet you will need to purchase a 5/16" OD x 1/4" OD, or a 3/8" X 1/4" OD reducing coupling prior to the installation of the faucet. This is important if you are paying someone to install the faucet and you do not have the correct parts when they are there to install the unit. If you are unsure what size you have just purchase one of each from Lowe's or Home Depot and return what you don't use for credit. 4So far, so good. Installed for a couple of months. So far, so good. Installed for a couple of months. Looks good and operation is excellent, especially compared to the cheap tap faucet we had before. The spout swings to the side when not in use.You might need a basin wrench to install this depending on your access. I was able to do it with pliers but it was a bit awkward. Finally got it tightened enough. One good point is it came with a rubber washer that seals the base at the deck - so I did not have to use caulking or sealant. 5Cool, Modern Water Faucet Used with Culligan EZ water filtration system. I bought this to replace my Culligan EZ water filtration chrome water faucet. I redid my countertops and wanted something way more attractive then that ugly water dispenser. I saw online that this may not fit my Culligan water system so I took it to Home Depot and they helped me buy a couple parts that would adapt it to my Culligan water system. The plumber only needed to use one of the pieces during install so I returned the other. The part they used cost about 2 bucks, so it was cheap. This new faucet is super chic and modern. I used black to contrast with my white kitchen and I love it. The first few days it was dripping slightly after use at the tip. I think this is because it is tall and the water needs to come out. It was very slight and now I just shake it a little to get the water out or leave it be since it is over a sink anyway. I wouldn't say it was a problem at all. I am very happy with this purchase and it was way cheaper than other water dispensers that look way less modern. 5
