Customer Reviews

kind of like pillow stuffing The plate that holds the tablet is affixed crookedly on the bag, which makes it very hard to position the tablet. Also, the filling is too "fluffy" .... kind of like pillow stuffing, so the bag won't hold the shape I create. Maybe if it were filled with actual beans, that might make a difference. But that doesn't help the crooked tablet holder! This item is getting returned. 1Sweet, easy, and it works A delightfully simple, light stand to hold a tablet or a phone. No more sore arms and shoulders from holding up my iPad. I can lie on my side or back, sit up, do a recliner, or have it on a table in front of me. I'm very pleased with this purchase. 5Exactly What I Needed This tablet stand is perfect for my new ASUS 9.7" tablet. I was worried that a 9.7 tablet would be too big to hold, and I wasn't sure I could find a stand that would sit on a cushion on my lap. This works great, very stable and the part that the tablet rests on is silicone (or something like it ), so it keeps the tablet from moving and it won't scratch the surface. I couldn't be happier, and I would definitely recommend this item and this Seller. 5I have to say that this company has provided amazing customer service I originally posted a 1 star review as the bean bag didn't adjust and it also does not hold my iPad securely. I have to say that this company has provided amazing customer service. I was contacted immediately and was told that some of their bean bags are over filled which makes them not very adjustable. I was sent a new one right away and the new one definitely adjusts to a variety of angles as I expected it to. Your device will just rest in the slot so if you are looking for something that will hang on to your device, this isn't the bean bag for you. But if you are looking for something that will allow you to use your device hands free in any number of angles, this is a great choice. And props to this company for the excellent customer service. 4Good product. Excellent customer service. ***Update: iProp read my initial review and sent me a replacement right away. This makes me believe the holes in my inner bag were bag luck, but mostly it is just excellent customer service...5 Stars.*** I would like to give this product 5 stars. Unfortunately the internal bean bag arrived with 2 holes in it; causing the white beans to spill all over. The exterior bag and stand seem to be made extremely well and work properly. However, the internal bag is made of thin material and cheaply sewn together. 5A beautifully simple solution I love to read in bed and can no longer hold a book. This bean bag holds my Kindle beautifully. The product is expensive but worth the money. I have tried many other solutions that are awkward and ineffective. I like to tilt my reader and have found it necessary to add a weight to one end of the bean bag. I think marbles would work well, but I have used a plastic bag with coins in it. Whatever I decide on, I love the Bean bag!Update--I have now bought a second bean bag. I have filled both of them with 2 pounds of dried beans each. This gives them more stability. The second I use in my car as a cell phone holder. I put it on my dash but you can put it anywhere and it doesn't move. No suction cups, no vent clips, no glued onto the windshieId mess. I did use a magnet glued to the back of the bean bag to hold the phone, but I don't really think it's necessary. 5Disappointed! I am very surprised that this got so many five star reviews because that s what I relied on when I bought it and I am very disappointed in it. I specifically bought it so I could read my iPad in bed without having to hold it. However, if I am lying in bed and have it on my stomach or chest it tends to fall over forwards. I have a flat stomach, so that s not the issue, but it s because it is so stuffed with beads that it pushed the holder forward. And the bag that holds the beads is small and lightweight and does not stay very stable. It seems to work fine if I keep my left hand on the back of the bag, but then it defeats the purpose of the handsfree selling point. It works fine on a desk or flat surface, but if you want it to read in bed think twice about it. 3Surprise When you actually find a product that seems to do what you need it to do, you order it and the anxiety meter starts. Once it arrives the fun or frustration is immediate. In this case this little invention passed and surpassed my expectations -- it works. It really works. It is intuitive so no need for an instruction sheet. I love my Bean Bag Tablet holder -- I might even get a couple more for Christmas. 5Might be too small for my lap? I ordered the iProp bean bag as a replacement for my Lap Log device. I have had multiple Lap Logs over the years, but now cannot find them anywhere. I am afraid they didn't make it. These are similar products, but different in important ways.1. I like the iProp iPad holder better than the Lap Log. It is rubber, or neoprene?, where the Lap Log was carved wood. It is lower profile, so I never have trouble hitting the screen or button at the bottom of the iPad.2. The iProp is much narrower than the Lap Log. This is better for stowing in a suitcase, but it is precarious to prop on one leg. You need to keep your legs together to use it on your lap, or risk it falling over. The Lap Log used to flop nicely over one leg and was pretty stable.3. The iProp has a very well placed handle at the top of the device. You can easily carry the iProp and the iPad with one hand very securely.Very nice product, wish it was just a tad longer! 5Review from a disabled user. I'm a quadriplegic with limited use of my hands. I spend most of my days in bed. I needed something to rest my tablet and phone on when I'm in my hospital bed. I wanted something that would sit on my leg only, as I am easily overheated with something bigger. I just got this today and already love it. I took the inner pillow out completely and it works great for me. I will use the pocket where the pillow was to store things if I ever take itnsomewhere. It's well made and it holds both my cell phone, Samsung J7 Sky Pro, and my 8" Kindle with case, perfectly. Two things I would change to improve it: the fabric is a little scratchy and I would like an EMF blocker under were the gadgets sit, but those are things I can easily fix myself. Nice job folks. 5
