There isn't much to say. It looks to be water tight and the battery side for the connector lug was the correct size to fit over the bolt on my battery accessory lug. The wire looks to be a tiny bit thinner than the 8 gauge stranded copper I used on the other side and this could have been because the insulation was thicker.5Worked for what I neededThis did the trick for my battery install.5Quality itemGood cable and holder. Had to shorten the lead for my application. I think they should not crimp it and let the end user decide the length they need for their own application. Then again most may be be able to do it themselves. Still a good item.5Works As AdvertisedNot too sure about the units longevity, but so far it works as advertised. Nice wire, typical acrylic body. I replaced the fuse with a lower amperage, as 60A is a little much for the 8ga wire. I expect to at least get a year out of it before it yellows or cracks. from engine heat and such. While the main output is fused I wanted this addition to have it's own fused line. This product was just what I needed ( although I did change the fuse to 30amp).5Works well.Only reason I give it 4 stars is because the gasket for the existing lead was half on. I had to take it apart and fix it. Not a big issue but if I hadn t caught it I m sure water would have found it s way in.
