The unit is plenty long enough to ...Base is too small for the height and for no good reason. The unit is plenty long enough to make the legs six or ten inches longer no problem at all. Leveling leg is a bit floppy so it has to be leveled pretty much every time. Legs are kinda sloppy/floppy too. I may have to take it apart and add nylon washers/bushings in between everything to tighten it up.Good is that the legs roll under a normal C-stand base so it can tuck in tight. Wheels are smooth and locks are positive. Stand is strong, simple, and fairly compact which is what I really needed, but it could be built to tighter tolerances.4Great stand for holding my sound blanketsI saw a video by DSLR Video Shooter where he built sound blanket stands and I built two of them for my home studio. These stands are perfect for general purpose mounting of LED panels and a host of other uses. For the sound blanket project, they are perfect. Small enough to store away easily yet sturdy enough to raise the blankets using a custom oak board mounting system.5Great stand for the moneyI absolutely love this stand. I was considering a manfrotto stand but thought I would try this one at nearly half pice. It works well with my 7 plm. Moves very freely. I used it as a monitor stand and within 20 days on a tv show the stand was not usable. The wheels themselves are cheap and also are destroyed from regular wear and tear. Love this nightstand.5Very Light DutyMay seam heavy duty, but the inner tubes appear to be aluminum, and it is very light duty. Seam built ok, though a little sloppy fitment vs the higher priced matthews units .Tubes do not seam to tighten very well, when I grab a stand to move it, I grab by the tube, and roll it around the studio, I found that the tubes tend to rotate, even when tight. More so if you have a sandbag on the base.This stand is ok, I wouldnt use it for more than a monitor or tether table. and for monitor, dont put anything heavy or put a production cine monitor.3Nice rolling light stand!This works great for my 86 in plm! Wish it weren t quite as expensive because I need another one. But it is very good quality and I even put it together myself5
