    TDK is the best! TDK tapes are by far the best on the market and have been since the 1970's. Most folks are too young to know what these are, so I won't go into any detail. 5Terrible quality Not a good buy. I was expecting actual, quality TDK tapes, not generic, cheaply made tapes that break down almost immediately . These tapes don't have the TDK logo on them, like actual TDK tapes do, and these tapes had difficulty within days of recording and rewinding, which wouldn't happen if they were actual, high quality TDK tapes. It was a complete waste of time and money. I am extremely disappointed. Even the jackets themselves look like copies. 1Old school recording Great buy for those of us who still use VHS recorders. Great picture quality. I fall asleep by 8pm, so recording is the only way I can see my favorite shows at my convenience. 5Need to try other brands, but all look the same. When rewinding or the machine rewinds tape at the end od the recording, the tape stops half way, I, have three VCRs, and same thing happens on all three, I, have several tapes with the same problem, with them, I continue purchasem them because there in no other source to get them. 1Analog Tape in a Plastic Box So far, these work fine for recording a TV series that I want to keep handy for my VCR collection. I don't keep my VCR around because it's cutting edge, I keep it for nostalgia and it's handy for playing those dollar store b-movies not found on DVD. 5One Star Originally I rated highly as it was delivered promptly. However, After I taped some shows and rewound the tape, all 3 tapes had problem. The rewind process caused the actually tape to go off track and the recordings were "unwatchable". I tried to manually advance the tape and it wouldn't work.I understand VHS technology disappearing but I still like it to tape a show or two and can easily eject the tape and move it from room to room as I am straightening thing up 1Rattling Received the 3-tapes, 2 of the tapes had parts rattling inside and 1 had a broken corner, they were NOT new tapes. 2Received on time, all in excellent condition Our old security tapes were wearing out, and we could not find them locally. These work as well as the old ones did (when they were new...). 5An Old Technology That Still Works I am one of those who still like to record on VHS tapes television shows to watch at a later time. I do not save the show but rather record over them. Here is why I bought this product. My last VCR (a Panasonic PV-V4022 which I still own but no longer use) had the LP feature. I could get four hours out of the typical two hour tape. Well my current DVD/VCR combo unit does not have LP and when I tape on the extended play or SLP feature the picture quality is lacking. So I have to go with the standard play or SP feature. So if I am taping a two hour program or two one hour programs the two hour tape isn't practical because I start the program a minute before and end it a minute after to insure I get everything. This tape is perfect for my needs because on standard speed I have over two and a half hours of tape to work with. So I am happy with the product. As for the brand TDK I have used that brand in the past and the tape lasted a long time. I still have some TDK tape I've had for years. Also the price was a good price-under ten dollars for three tapes. Again I used the free Super Saver shipping and had the product in a timely manner. Good job and thanks. 5These video tapes are great. I know it is hard to believe that with today's technology that I am still using a VCR. Until this breaks down I have no use for the extra expense of a DVR - this being noted - these 8 hour video tapes suits the purpose for me and I am thankful that they are still available. These video tapes are great. 5
