    Kept grass greener than neighbors during drought My neighbors yards are much browner than mine after using Hydretain.I don't have a sprinkler system, plus there are restrictions when it gets dry of course.My front lawn is too far away even to add a top of the lawn sprinkler.Without this I am sure my lawn would have been more brown. I planted last year in a few locations and this saved the lawn. 5More successful plantings with less water!! This product has reduced the watering required for our client's seasonal containers by as much as 50-75%. We also use this product when we install any new plantings. This product exceeds our expectations. 5Manage your expectations. I applied according to directions and cannot see any visible improvement to our lawn, i.e., we still have to water as much as before. This is pricey stuff, so I was hoping for better results. 2VERY EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT DOES. I could not see any difference in the water retention. 2This stuff works. It s been a hot and dry summer. Where mine and my neighbors property meet, you can see where his grass has gone dormant and is drying out, mine is lush green and still growing.
