Customer Reviews

Nice cable set. I'm using these to connect my Behringer monitors to my mixer. Unfortunately, my monitors are falling in to Behringer's stereotype a bit; One of it's two inputs has failed on me, so now I'm having to using the phono plug jacks. This cable set fits the bill perfectly for my needs. I haven't had it for very long, but if anything, I'm hearing an improvement in my audio signal (the failed input used to have a peculiar hum to it), so this has helped. 5great cable Needed these hosa cables for hooking up my m-audio audio interface to my m-audio monitors. I got a lower end monitor for my pc for just playing back music as i like the sound of these m-audios. But on to the cable, these are still great quality, i have like 10 various hosa cables now, for various audio interfaces and had them for a few years now and they're all working great. I also like hosa because you can find the right combination adapters to work with different devices. But this one works perfect for m-audio interface output to low end m-audio monitors, sound is clear, no problems. 5Excellent, seemingly durable high quality cable I bought this to go from my sound mixing board (1\4") to the mini-amplifier (boughthere on Amazon, look at my profile for it's review) which uses the RCA as inputs, then goes out to my speakers (also in my reviews). This is the set-up I came up with in order to not need to use earphones on my Roland TD-7 electronic drums. The earphones worked well enough, and will have to wear them during off hours, as I live in an apartment complex, but with this setup, I can actually have sound coming out from my kit on-stage, giving the other musicians the impression of an accoustical kit, and I can use the TD-7 with a MadCatz MIDI to USB converter (also in my reviews peofile) to play Rock Band on my Wii, instead of using the sad excuse for drums that it comes with (no adjustability whatsoever and you don't get the reality feeling of having a snare and a high-hat, let alone any crash or ride cymbals). 5Great quality at a Good price. Nice thick and flexible cable. Build quality looks and feels great. I am using this with a usb amp/dac (Syba Sonic SD-DAC63057) to provide signal for my powered speakers (Massdrop x JBL LSR30X.) I have been using them for about a month now and have no issues with it at all.Works great. 5HOSA CPR provided much needed CPR to my jam corner. Bought this cable to hook my MicroKorg up to the Kaossilator Pro. Added some crazy lighting and now I have a one person rave every night. Just a heads up if anyone is bored and wants to come over and hang out. 5Buying more expensive cables is a waste. bought for digitizing old cassette tapes. Connected the tape deck to my audio interface, attempted to gain match the L/R, and hit record. If there was any noise introduced by these cables, it is not noticeable, especially when using old cassette tapes (home recorded). For connecting a CD player to a line mixer, I would have no problem using them for that too. Not the most road worthy construction, but for the price they're fine. If I want better, I won't pay more, I'd make my own. 5Cheaper for better. Amazon brings good products to door for cheaper price. I went to BestBuy and wonder how they stay in business. I don't understand why Amazon gets hot seat by activists. Walmart brings junk for dirt cheap and Amazon brings good one for fair price, and both thrive. Hell with activists. 5Cheaply built - came apart in less than a week It turns out that the RCA center post is plastic coated with thin metal covering it. Both of the posts broke off inside my amp connectors. I hope I can drill them out. I've used Hosa cables for a long time and I'm really surprised these are made so poorly. 1Awful help with defective cable They worked just fine for exactly 1 year and they broke. I was super gentle with them and hardly moved them around at all, just plugged in behind my studio monitors and one of the cables frayed internally, sort of like when your headphones keep cutting in and out in one ear, the speaker no longer gets continuous signal. The reason my review is so bad is because I asked for a return and was denied. They told me it was outside the Amazon timeframe and referred me to the seller, who hasn't responded to my query and I feel ignored. So basically this product has a 1 year expiration date and if you try and get a replacement they ignore you. Poor, lacking, neglectful customer service. 0/5 stars would not buy again 1Your Best Bet on Amazon For the last 27 years I've been a recording engineer, worked in TV studios and done sound reinforcement, so trust me on this. I've been using Hosa cables for two decades and very rarely have I had a problem, but I've had probably 50 of them. I usually choose cables one step better, not sold here on Amazon, but Hosa comes well shielded and with strain relief and it's all you need at a good price. All these years and they haven't changed because they didn't need to. Do not think more expensive or gold plated or thicker is better, you're paying for advertising, not better sound. I'm just here to help and share decades of experience. 5
