May not work with all 1/4 jacks The cable I received passed signal, but the 1/4 jack was too long or longer than standard. It wouldn t work in my headphone amp (Begringer HA400 - which has standard 1/4 jacks. All the other 1/4 jacks I have available to try with the headphone amp worked). If I pulled this cable out a little, it would work, but I wasn t able to get it to stay put in that position.I m disappointed - I probably own a dozen Hosa cables and usually they work well. Also, no Amazon return on this item. It s a nice cable otherwise - maybe I can cut off the 1/4 jack and repurpose it somewhere. 1High Quality Audio Interconnects Looking for high quality audio interconnect cables? If so, you can't go wrong with Hosa. These are fantastic, well-made cables that feature a soft, flexible spiral shield coating, nickel-plated plugs, and oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors. In short, these are really good cables with features mostly seen in more expensive cables. Highly recommended. 5Jeez!! OK! Wow! Um.. So this cable right here right? So, you get the package and your like, "wow, what a basic package, these are possibly made cheap, and why they cost so little. Nothing special." then boom! You open it up and just tell yourself, "wow..." Becuase it feels, amazing. It's flexible and feels high quality and loose. Not stiff or rugged like most cables do. Really awesome job guys, great cable. 5Hosa CMS-103 3.5 mm TRS to 1/4 inch TRS Stereo Interconnect Cable, 3 feet Hosa CMS-103 3.5 mm TRS to 1/4 inch TRS Stereo Interconnect Cable, 3 feetI ordered this cable after noticing my Bluetooth transmitter connected to my A/V Receiver with a 1/4 in ch converter from the 3.5mm cable, was scratchy and would actually drop one channel. After twisting and messing with it a while, I decided to forgo using the converter and just buy this solid cable. Problem solved. It is just a cheaply made cable, so I give it four stars for now. I may return to this review if it holds up well and performs to a solid performance such that it deserves another star. I like it so far. 4Works for Music Love it!I used this to play music from my computer/phone to my guitar amp!Lots of reviews -recommend- you not do this, but it works fine on my smaller lower quality amp, and I know thats what a lot of people are looking to use it as!Absolutely 100% satisfied, and glad I didn't spend money on a smaller, less loud, bluetooth! Plus, how could you beat $5.95 if you already have an old guitar amp lying around!(Put it in the headset plug in!) 5Works great to connect a nonlatching footswitch to my camera so guest can trigger my camera! I used this cable along with the below to turn my Nikon D7000 into a great photo booth along with 2 Alien Bees B400 Strobe lights and a white muslin background. I also use the cybersync transmitter and receivers.Allows guest to walk into the photo booth (It's just a mini studio) which I can setup in the corner at wedding receptions, etc. The foot pedal along with the pre-trigger cable allow the subjects to snap their own pictures and be as funny as they want. Seems having a photographer behind the camera makes people not come out and be as funny as they are when they know no one's behind the camera. I have an assistant had out props such as hats and mustaches on sticks along with chalk boards, etc. for guest to write whatever they want.(I have the camera set to manual focus along with a high f-stop so there's no issues with users being blurry. Camera is set with a 50mm prime lens and covers the entire backdrop)The wifi card allows users to view their images on my ipad and the otterbox case protect it from kids/rough guest. (also another reason to have an assistant).I tried the Eye-Fi Card along with Nikons USB Wifi card, and for the money, the transcend card was the best bang for the buck. I leave the camera in live view mode, so it never looses a connection to the ipad by turning off the wifi card. Also that's why I needed the ac power cord for my camera. The ipad is also plugged into power.Hope this helps someone else setup an awesome photo booth as well!* Nikon 27018 EP-5a Power Supply Connector* Kapaxen EH-5 EH-5A AC Power Adapter* ChargerCity Music Mic Microphone Stand Tablet Mount* Boss Fs-5U Nonlatching Footswitch* C2G / Cables to Go 03170 3.5mm Stereo Coupler Female/Female* Fotodiox Pro Pre-Trigger Remote Shutter Release Cable for Nikon D7000* Transcend Information 32 GB Wi-Fi SDHC Class 10 Memory Card* OtterBox Defender Series Case with Screen Protector and Stand for the New iPad 5Intermittent connections from the .25" plug in standard equipment When used with a BEHRINGER MICROAMP HA400, this .25" plug is the wrong length, and when plugged in completely there is no right channel. By fiddling with insertion depth, both channels are available. Since I am using two other BEHRINGER MICROAMP HA400 successfully with other cables, I am attributing the failure to this plug perhaps not being the most common standard length. 1Buzzing!! This made a terrible buzzing noise when hooking my iPhone to my auxiliary in on my drum module (which is definitely stereo in) I noticed this part of cable appeared to stick out which is unlike the photo in the ad. Maybe it s a defect causing it not to be properly shielded. Other Hosa products have worked well for me. 1Headphones for guitar amp Another quality Hosa product! I use this cable to plug in my AudioMX headphones into my amp while playing guitar.Headphoneshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZWNYF7E/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awd_Mww4wb1D07T5MThis allows me to jam out and not disturb the wife and kids. The 10' cable allows is the same length as most guitar cables. It doesn't force me to be super close to the amp. I can scoot back and and comfortably play and use my pedals without interference. The construction appears to be rather durable. I haven't noticed any noise interference while using the headphones. What more can I say. The cable works perfectly for my needs. 5Not an actual stereo cable I bought this cable as a replacement for an old 3.5mm stereo to 2 mono audio cable. I thought it would be a good solution and save me an input on my mixer. When I received this cable, I plugged it in and went into my audio settings to test it. When testing the left channel, audio played through both channels on the mixer. When testing the right channel, I got the same result. What does this mean? It means that this is a mono cable, or at most, a cable that duplicates a mono signal and makes it "stereo". Not an ACTUAL stereo cable. Not cool.**Update: The wonderful folks at Amazon gave me a full refund, so it all worked out. The cable still sucks, though, so don't buy it. 2
