Strobe effectSlight 60 Hz flicker. If I wave my hand, I get strobe effect. Not a big issue for me but might impact some people4PerfectI have an uplight on the floor of my living room highlighting some palms. I leave the light on 24/7. I had recently purchased another 25 watt bulb that was horrible, sort of a bluish cast to it. These are pretty and warm, much better. Looks very nice.5Not BadSo far extremely satisfied. Installed in a porch light and 3 light yard light fixture. We have used 25 watt incandescent bulbs for years, replacing them several times a year in the yard light fixture. We are hopeful that these LEDs will last a couple years. Bulbs have a good look and put out as much light as the incandescent bulbs for less than 1/12th the wattage. The yard light burns dusk to dawn so we should see a few KW less per year on the utility bill too.5Perfect warm glow, especially to make a cold winter night cozy.I have a torchiere table lamp with Italian marble glass sitting on a low table in a foyer. This lamp requires a small bulb, and as the bulb is viewable if you pass close to the lamp (as a visitor would do on the way to the bathroom) the wrong bulb -- as I learned -- creates a harsh glare and makes a beautiful lamp look horrible.This bulb is perfect. The 2w version casts a perfect warm light in the foyer, and if you get close to the lamp and see the bulb, it is a pleasing Edison-style glow. At only two watts, it is also inexpensive to leave on as a night light. In another lamp, I have the 4w version which provides a much brighter, but still warm illumination in the room.These photos do not do the bulb (or lamp) justice, as I had to turn down the brightness on my phone's camera to capture the images properly. Unlike the photos suggest, the foyer isn't dark and is lit perfectly -- but if you had a lamp you wanted to read by, go with the 4w version.5Great for bedroom lightingLove these bulbs! We re using them in the bedroom in glass sconces. The light is much softer than the non-LED Edison bulbs I originally purchased from Walmart. I m returning Walmart bulbs and keeping these! I just swapped them out so I can t speak for longevity.5If you have exposed bulbs, just buy these now - you'll be thrilledI cannot speak to the longevity yet, but on every other factor I give these a prefect rating. They look very attractive, especially in the wright-iron fixtures we have them in where you can see the bulbs. The color is warm and wonderful without losing artificially amber, and they look fantastic on or off. What's very impressive is that the light is just as diffused as a frosted bulb, so there are no harsh shadows.I would say they are much brighter than their incandescent equivalent, however, and maybe closer to a 60W bulb than a 25W, so be prepared for that.5good bulbsI bought the 8 of the 4w 2700k version. I'm very happy with these bulbs. Just the right shape for my application, good color temp, plenty of light. I measured the wattage of one in a lamp and it was very low, 2w! I think my meter doesn't read accurately at such low wattage, but the reading was less than a 5 watt bulb (which read out at 3w on the same meter, and a 14w led read out at 12w). So, at least I know it is in the right ball park: I am confident these are accurately rated, and using very little energy!5Perfect warm light, wide dimming range!These bulbs fit perfectly in the pendant fixture I have in my living room. The color temperature is warm... perfect. The wide range of dimming make these bulbs outstanding, just like the original incandescent bulbs they replaced. I couldn't ask for better.But, I would love it if the price went down, because I have string lights over my deck and want to replace the scores of 7 watt bulbs with these. One day they will be as cheap as the old incandescent bulb. Maybe...575% perfect.The lights do what they say, they have the appearance of a vintage bulb, with the energy consumption of LED. However, out of the four, there is one in which one of the diodes is definitely closer to 4100k (see output on wall in attached photo). I work in lighting, and cannot stand when color temperatures are even slightly mismatched in the wrong application, so this has been bugging me since my purchase. I don't know if there is a QC process that these bulbs go through, but a daylight balanced LED seems very misplaced in this application.3Great light bulbs 10/10These are perfect bulbs for the porch lights I bought them for. Needed smaller size bulbs to match the look I wanted but still bright enough to to be useful. These not only met both criteria but because they're LED, they're energy efficient and I expect them to last a long time. The yellowish/white color light also fits the look I wanted. Would definitely buy these again.5
