    Not dimmable (and very dim) with a recommended Lutron Toggler 150-Watt Single-Pole/3-Way CFL-LED DimmerThese bulbs are nice but in a 5-bulb chandelier are not dimmable using a supposedly LED compatible dimmer switch (Lutron Toggler 150-Watt Single-Pole/3-Way CFL-LED Dimmer-TGCL-153PH); this is a dimmer switch that is listed on the Hero web site as compatible. In addition, they only illuminate to a modest degree (far below what is expected for a 60W-equivalent LED bulb). Through some experimentation, I found that putting in a single 60W incandescent bulb or a Philips 60W-equivalent antique dimmable LED bulb into the 5 bulb fixture now allows the other 4 bulbs to become dimmable and all reach their full luminosity. Lutron tech service did not have a work-around and Hero tech support never answered my inquiry.2Great ValueGreat light, great look, great price, great seller, delivered as promised on time, they all worked well, (No OOB Failures) and they don't put out any heat.You can reach up and unscrew one that has been on for hours and it doesn't even feel warm.Don't know about longevity yet, but I Just re-ordered for the second time.5Very cool retro bulb that is still energy efficient.I was so glad to find an LED version of the Edison bulb. I love the look of the bulbs in the light fixture but also love the fact that it is a more energy efficient bulb than an incandescent bulb. So glad I purchased these. Just one note on the LED bulbs is that they seem way brighter than their incandescent equivalents. When I contacted the company, they offered a replacement, but only if I provided them with pictures of the non working bulb and my phone number. Most of the ones I have found at the large home improvement stores have a poor rating or from first hand experience I have found are fragile and put out low light. The ones from those stores seem much dimmer that what the estimated watt equivalent rating is shown on the packaging.We replaced two light fixtures in our living room and we needed a lot of light from the newer open fixtures since the room is large and has dark flooring, etc. I chose the 75 watt Hero bulbs and was pleasantly surprised at how much light they put out. I purchased two boxes for a total of eight bulbs. The 75 watt equivalent rated bulbs are so bright you for sure do not look directly at them for long. I attached a photo of what the bulbs look like in the new light fixtures. I have another light fixture of the same style that I will be putting up above our dining room table but it has eight hanging individual fixtures similar to the ones in the photo with the three. I will be purchasing more of the hero bulbs only in a much lower wattage since there will be eight lights on at once in that fixture.5Good light8W is too bright to tell that it's a vintage "Edison" filament style bulb, you can't really see individual "filaments" too well without burning your eyes. Not rated for outside for some reason (-1 star). Otherwise it's a good light.4
