    Works well This fixure is light weight plastic, but is adequately sturdy for its purpose . The light bulb direction is easy to set, with the adjustments being secure enough to hold the position. The motion detector on my unit is still fairly easy to move with the clamp screw tight as I can get it ( took one star). So far it is holding its position. Getting the light to come on when you want and the direction, takes quite a bit of fiddling with both the sensitivity adjustment and position of the motion detector. The test setting helps greatly with the setup process. I was able to get my light set to suit my needs and it has been functioning well. For the money spent this was a good buy for me. 4Great replacement motion light at a reasonable price. Had a similar Heath/Zenith light that lasted about 15 years before it's motion sensor went bad. A replacement motion sensor average price is about $15. Since this unit was $12.00 & the majority of reviews were positive I purchased this light. Yes, as one reviewer stated, the mounting holes are not drilled through, although if you have a drill & 3/16" drill bit it's no big deal drilling two holes in the base. (Most electrical boxes only have two screws anyway) Installed easily & waited till dark to put it on test & adjust motion sensor. There is no comparison between this Heath/Zenith & another manufactuers motion light I purchased from Amazon several years ago that were total junk, at twice the price! In my opinion this is a good light at a reasonable price. 5Compact I wanted small to tuck under the eaves. These fit the bill. Have a on time to ten minutes option that I like. Since they are not exposed, I am using omni -directional 100 watt LEDs. I really like themUpdate: back of the house still work perfect. I have now installed two on the south end of the house. Totally exposed to the Tucson sun. They have been up a month and are working perfectly. I just wonder why white is a couple of dollars more than the grey. Don't get it 5Sensitivity issues I typically don't right reviews, but for this I figured I would. I seemed to have the same problem as many others who have written reviews where the light seems to work great for the first week, then it is constantly on. Even with the sensitivity all the way down the light is almost always on at night and when it is not on you have to get within 10ft of the sensor for it to turn on. All and all its a nice little light for seeing at night, but if you're looking for accurate sensitivity for security or the electric bill, I wouldn't recommend this.Heath/Zenith HZ-5408-WH 300W 110-Degree Light, White 2Motion Sensing Flood Light - You get what you pay for, but it's a decent value Not the highest quality fixture you can buy, but also offered at a very reasonable price, so can't complain too much. Probably my only gripe is the plastic construction, which makes it easy to strip the locking collars where the sockets attach to the base. Having to use a screwdriver to loosen the joint on the socket it also a little annoying, but it makes for a tight joint.Overall, pleased with the purchase based on what I got versus what I paid. HOWEVER, if I had it to do over, I'd probably spend 5-10 more dollars for a unit with a metal housing. 4Upon inspection, I could see why this light was so inexpensive. I bought this to replace my existing Heath/Zenith light that I installed several years ago and was very satisfied with. When I saw this one and that it was 1/2 the price of my original, I studied it more closely. I knew the sensitivity wasn't as good, but everything else seemed similar. It works okay, but time will tell with regards to longevity. It's not nearly as sturdy as the one it replaced. My biggest complaint was when I received it, one of the small metric nuts that hold the light swivel was missing. Luckily, I was able to find one, since you wouldn't be able to use the light without it. I'm not sure who's responsible for the missing nut. Maybe the manufacturer, since if it had been installed properly, it wouldn't have loosened and fell out of the box. 3very easy to setup and use I purchased two of these and installed one at the rear of the house and the other at the front.They work great, very easy to set up. If installing your self, Just make sure to turn off the respective breaker before installation. you can set them to work as regular lights or, use the motion sensor and set it for the length of time you'd like them to stay on.once set, sensors work great, just make sure you position them properly. 5Cheap Ya it works, but it's really cheaply made. All Plastic - the plastic lock which secures the light fixtures broke when applying moderate force to lock it in place. Nothing gorilla glue can't fix; but shouldn't have to. Ended up running down to Home depot, spent the extra five bucks and bought a decent unit. 3Russian roulette I bought two, one worked one didn't. Had to climb up 15 feet to install, now Ihave to take it down, box it up, ship it out and wait for a replacement. Judging by the reviews, it's my fault. Should not have purchased with the amount of failures.Update, after 37 days the product failed. Seller said they are not responsible for warranty to call the manufacture,,,in China,, for something they sold 1Nice basic motion-sensor fixture Nice basic motion sensor light fixture. does the job and installed easily. I might have chosen the model with conical bulb "surrounds" if I were to purchase of these again (just to shield bulbs from accidental contact with basketballs). I would love a 2-minute shut-off delay option. It has 1-, 5- and 10-minute settings if I recall correctly. I need to adjust the sensitivity since I've currently got it high enough to detect raccoons/cats and tree leaves that blow into the detection swath. 5
