    Four Stars arrived as promised, but contained some different, but compatible models and brands 4Better Filtration, Need To Flush Out Some Bitter Flavor These were not exactly like the filters they were supposed to replace (old ones were more like a dense foam material while these appear woven), but there are a pro and con to them in comparison. The pro is pretty good -- they do seem to filter sediment BETTER than the original filters. In fact, there are some visible deposits from the tanks they attach to that used to somehow get past the old filters, but no evidence that they can get past these. The con is that initially there was a bit of an odd taste to the filtered water. It persisted for several days of light use. But it wasn't a strong enough taste difference to concern me much and it did dissipate with use. That is the only reason for deducting one star -- had to run quite a bit of water through the filter to get the taste to improve. 4Five Stars I was happy to find these filters at a reasonable price. 5Five Stars pricing and delivery make for a great value! 5They do the job. Good for what they're meant for. 4Filters my well water I have been using these filters for approximately 2 years. I just found them on AMAZON and they are cheaper than what I can find them locally. I decided to try these and they are the same as the ones I previously bought locally. I usually replace them every three months. 5
