    The Right Trim Pack Delivered Immediately Home Depot shipped the wrong product and then had the correct item on back order for 3 weeks. Amazon shipped these the same day we ordered them and they are perfect. Halo makes a good product although they do seem awfully expensive for what they are. 5Good item, bad packaging I ordered five of these trims. They are nice trims and are perfect (when used in the right housing ) for accenting wall art or just accenting a wall. I already had a couple of these trims for a few years and just remodeled and needed more. They seemed to have had what I can only describe as " slight " manufacturing defects when compared to my older trims that are the same. first I notices that one could see what looked to be rivet bumps on the outside under the finish, just a slight imperfection and probably nothing that would be seen once they are high enough away on the ceiling, but my older ones didn't have that. Next I noticed that you could see light leaking around the perimeter of the middle as if the center fit loosely, again, my older same model trims are perfect and no light leaks. My biggest complaint was the way they were packaged and shipped. They were removed from there original packaging boxes and thrown into a box with a little thin plastic wrapping around them and three pieces of inflated plastic as protection. Needless to say, the five items had room to move around in there and you could shake the box just a little and here them rattling around a little. These items have metal clips on them that are used when you install them into their housing and those metal clips were moving around just enough that two of the pieces had scratched finishes where you could see bare metal. Wasn't pleased at all. And this is my first negative review that I've ever submitted with Amazon 2Easy to install, very nice effect Have two new Halo 4" recessed fixtures over the fireplace and bought dimmable LED bulbs. These trim pieces were easy to snap on - and the wall wash effect over the fireplace wall looks great. 5Five Stars Perfect for wall wash look I was going for 5They are not deep like my other halo trim parts so there is large ... They are not deep like my other halo trim parts so there is large gap between my lights and the black trim so i can see in the inside of the housing. I guess halo should explain that or if this is the wrong part perhaps they should brand their parts more intuitively 2Five Stars blocks bright led light I love it 5Works, but seems to block half the light, and not amplify it / direct it to the wall. I put this over some Hue lights to do a wall wash look. It seems like they block a lot more light than I would have hoped. It seems like the need more reflective light shaping inside the baffle to boost the light output. 3Five Stars Product does a very good job for a wall wash application 5Defuses light As expected installed and ceiling all washes art well 5Clean, crisp, fine quality. Just had to write a review to allow a proper evaluation of the product so as the low rating does not stand on 1 review. This is my first review.Simply these trims are good. They are solid, they are metal. They are manufactured with a high degree of quality and appearance.I have about 70 cans of various diameters and styles in my own high end basement project and I assure you I would send any back that do not meet my high level of building standards. I appreciate Halo's quality and price point for their cans and the trims. I also appreciate the ease of installation for an electrical contractor. I will keep these trims happily and am ordering more. 5
