This also will prevent the reflectors from sagging down with the weight of newer led bulbs. 5BeautifulI love these. I hate the typical serrated ones inside, and I didn't want black or white inside. This haze is perfect. Very contemporary and updates your space. 5Nice looking trimI bought one of these and one of the similar "specular" (shiny) interior versions. My wife ended up liking the specular better, but I preferred these (so we compromised and went with the specular).This is a good looking and well-made trim. The edge ring is narrow, about 1/2" or so, so be aware that if you're replacing a trim with a larger ring, it may leave old paint or even poor drywall finishing exposed and you'll have some touch-ups to do (that's not at all a fault of this product, of course).In our housing, BR30 and PAR30 bulbs were an option; I thought the BR30 looked best with this trim, because of its softer light. The PAR30 (halogen) looked better with the specular trim (Halo 404C), since its light output is sharper (my opinion).When we get around to remodeling my man-cave, I'll probably get to choose these. Good looking trim. 5Works GreatI bought one of these to test it out. I have a large number of cans in my ceiling that vent a significant amount of air into the living space. It was a wee bit non-intuitive to install, but once I got it in, the air influx stopped. It sealed positively and tightly. Amazon had the best price I found. There were a couple of places that were apparently cheaper, but when I looked into the details, they didn't have the "Haze" baffle, but rather the "Specular". So in summary, this baffle worked very well for my installation.
