You will want to purchase this item if you don't wish to replace the batteries frequently!I bought this item after finding that the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition calculator that I purchased did not have any batteries in it and did not have an AC adapter to supply power to it. This definitely comes in handy if you don't wish to go through several pairs of batteries just to use a graphing calculator. 5Three StarsI got it in good time, it worked well. I liked it.. I would definitely recommend this product, but make sure you check that it's compatible with your calculator before buying! 5Scam herenot pictured in the picture, some cheap knock off wall charger you can buy for a $1 at target, wrong plug and it broke my TI-84 C which will be a pain to replace, this needs to be reported. 1Excellent Replacement!!My daughter misplaced (lost essentially) the original power supply that came with the TI Calculator. We bought this one as a replacement and it works fantastic!!! Just as good as the original, if not better, given that she can utilize the cable to connect it directly with the computer. Was worried whether the quality would be good but when I opened up the package I saw that it was great quality. Plugged my dying calculator to it and it fired right up and started charging. Awesome product and would purchase again if I needed to but I hope this is the last lost charger for this calculator. 5A must-have with the Ti-nspireI've never used an electronic device that eats batteries like my Ti-spire calculator. I recently "graduated" from my old Ti 89 Platinum, and in the 8 years I've owned it - and heavily used it - I've swapped them out twice. This new calculator used a set (new from the store) in less than a week. No good! So this setup is better.One caveat: Just keep in mind that, in order to use the charger, you must also purchase the rechargeable battery for it. Installation is easy, and it's meant to be permanent. Since I'm not taking classes at the moment, it's not getting much use, but it's still on full power after nearly one month. 5Good value replacementMy son needed a replacement for his TI calculator. This was a good value and appears to be working for him. You will need to carefully select based upon the TI model and read through the list that appears for this chord. I do like that you have the option to charge from a lap top or a regular wall outlet. That comes in handy when you are traveling, in school or the office. He's only had this one month so it's not possible to determine durability. 4
