    Not just for battery packs-- a Swiss Army Knife of uses!There is basically no limit to the usefulness of these clamps on light stands once you start using your imagination. The set that I received actually had both a 3/8 hole and a 1/4 hole (not just a 1/4 hole). In the picture you can see the 3/8 in use and the 1/4 beside it.The mouth opening is HUGE. This means you can use these on thick tripod legs and many other things.These little clips have about 1,000 uses other than just battery packs. I would say it is a no-brainer decision to pick up a group of these to have on hand when setting up lighting. Just attach a couple of mini ball heads to each one (via the 1/4 or 3/8 holes) and you can put speedlights almost ANYWHERE and be able to rotate them any way you want. Like I said, just use your imagination.The quality of construction is very, very good. Enjoy!5Battery pack holderUsed to hold my power pack on my light stand for my flashpoint 360 flash. Battery is secure, works as advertised.5Wish I had purchased this when I picked up the ...Wish I had purchased this when I picked up the battery pack. Its an inexpensive accessory but makes the battery pack much more usable. It keeps the battery pack in place and holds it there even as you're picking up your light stand and moving around.The build quality is solid, I don't think this thing is ever going to break without some serious effort with a hammer.5Fortunately it happened at a time when I only needed ...It's functional and did what it needed to do...securing my Godox Propac onto my light stand. The problem came when I went to secure it to a thinner light stand. It has a small gently angled/ rubberized handle to accept the curve of a light stand stem. As I tightened down one time, I realized that I didn't clamp it down where I wanted. When I went to unscrew it, I loosened the plastic handle that turns. I'm sure that I can fix it with a wrench and some superglue, but I don't typically travel with those items on a shoot. Fortunately it happened at a time when I only needed a single Propac and had a spare.3Great accessory holder!Great attachment for holding/mounting equipment on stands and other round objects.5Excelnt product! This product is great to hold the battery on the lightstand.You can connect more accesories (I never did) like flashes, continuous ligts, etc. thru a 1/4" 5Its amazing how such a small item can make your life ...i have to laugh at myself for putting off buying these!!! All the times people helped me move my lights without them and everything falls off! Its amazing how such a small item can make your life so much easier!! buy them for every stand that uses a battery!5Truly multi-purpose...The description of this mount as "multifunctional" is important to note, because the images (as of the time of this review) don't fully show how this can be used. You should observe that the bracket has both 3/8" and 1/4" threaded holes to attach your spigot / stud to, which can be very helpful in using speedlights. With common adapters, this mount can be placed on stands, doors, tables, etc. and used for adding light in precarious places.Also, I must add that, since I already own several dedicated mounts with studs, this new style mount has an opening (or mouth, so to speak) that is significantly wider than is common. It opens about 3/4" wider than the other C-type mounts with studs that I have used for years. This means you can attach it to larger poles, stands, tables, doors, car windows, etc. than the typical mounts allow for, thus making it more useful overall.Yes, the main reason I bought it was to secure my power pack for the AD-360 (which it does very well). But the fact that it has multiple functions makes this mount much more valuable than other screw-type mounts with studs. The value is there, in my opinion, so I would highly recommend this...5ok for the price they work but rubber tips of all mine come off. So i'm always feeling the bottom of my carry bag to find the rubber pieces. You can't glue them because they are made to stay still while screw turns. 3Works great mounted to a lightweight Manfrotto light stand with the ...Works great mounted to a lightweight Manfrotto light stand with the Altura 8-AA cell battery pack attached. I'd only like to see the pad attached to the screw have a divot like the pad on the bracket side. It would make me a little more confident of it's grip on the stand.4Broken after several uses, requires some glue to fixThis seems straightforward, but after about five months of using it I ran into a case where I had cranked the knob so that it tightened on my lightstand, but when I unscrewed it, the knob came off from the bolt, and i had to use pliers to unscrew the clip. WD-40 on the threads to make it unstick, and some epoxy glue to reattach the knob to the bolt, and its back in service. Would be great if one could buy a product without having to jury-rig it though. Guess that's why its cheaper than the original.3The rubber protector that goes against the light stand came ... The rubber protector that goes against the light stand came off in it's first use I was able to reconnect it and it did stay on. I have other ones from a different manufacturer and I did not have any issues with them. 3WorksI bought it to hold my Godox AD200 to the stand, it is clearly not intended for that however I was able to rig it to work for me.5
