The softbox is useless.I bought this softbox kit Dec. 14th of last year. I places it under a heavy shelf in the hopes of it being usable one day. Well, I pulled it out today and it is as useless as it was the day I got it. I had even forgot that I had it until I went to get some other photo stuff today. I an not sure is this is an issue with Godox or if it is an issue from where I bought it. Either way, I will not order another godox item.1JunkDon't waste your money. This is not portable at all, considering once it's opened, you're never getting it back to it's compact shipping size. And if you do attempt to put it back into the carry case, it's permanently deformed. Nice try Godox but you need to go back to the drawing board or provide actual instructions on how to fold the product. Order something else.1excellent soft box and low cost, somewhat difficult to fold up and collapse for storagethis is an excellent soft box and served me very well on location for quick setup and packing to a very small size for transport. It works very well with my speed light flashes when placed into the newer clamp type holder that holds the flash horizontally. I learned the hard way never to use a regular light stand hot shoe clamp on a speed light as the speed light hot shoe plastic material is easily cracked and damaged by the standard hot shoe clamp. I would give this five stars if I didn't have to battle with it so much to fold back into its original containing case.4Very well made and soft light! Highly recommend.I'm a professional photographer and have relied on Godox soft boxes as well as other products including strobes. This small soft box was perfect for use as a rim light. I really liked the soft light coming from the box. I use it with a speed light as they are not suited for strobes. Very nice quality and I'd definitely buy again and recommend that you buy if you are reading this. Make sure you have the right speed light mount for this.5I'm in love with this productI'm in love with this product. It's lightweight and easy to carry. I can put it in areas that I would not normally use softbox because of their bulkiness.A light difficult to get back in their cases but still worth having. I shoot outdoor a lot during the summer months and these have been nothing but joy for OCF.4Solid products. As a first time buyer, I'll definitely be buying Godox stuff again.Works great and is reasonably priced. I've used it on two photo shoots so far and I plan to get more at some point. I used this for a promotional shoot for a local musician on a dark street corner and also used it for a headshot session and the light bounces and spreads nicely.I hadn't used this brand before but I'll probably be using them often at this point. I used this box with their "Godox S-type Bracket Bowens Mount Holder" to shoot with speedlights and that's also a solid product. I originally ordered the Neewer branded version of the same type but it came broken in the package and parts of it felt cheap so I sent it back, spent $5 extra on the Godox branded one and have been really happy with it. So spend the $5 more on theirs to use with this light box and you can't go wrong!5AwesomeThis is such a great little softbox. I have this and the 32", and love them to death. They're made really well and are easy to open and fold down (once you know how. Folding it down, it folds down like a typical reflector. Just you need a little more strength to twist it as the softbox material itself is pretty sturdy and stiff).Another very important thing to note is that when you open the case for this the softbox will spring open halfway and hit you in the face. So open the case very carefully, grab the softbox while it's still folded up and remove it from the case and hold it away from your body before letting it spring open. That way you get to keep your face intact lol!5Great box, but don't forget to order the mount.Super quick to set up, and well built for the money. 4 stars only because it didn't come with the mount. From the pictures I had expected it too. Still worth the cost, just make sure to order the mount with it.4Required strength of steel to fold back into a loopThis thing is high quality and it produces the desired soft lighting effect. But it s almost impossible to fold back into itself to storage in its included case. It s maddening. The smaller version is even harder than the larger one since you don t have the benefit of leverage. The smaller size makes the metal substructure harder to bend since the tension is distibuted over a shorter area.3Surprisingly good, tight/not flimsy, excellent for travelI like this much more than I thought I would. It's fast and convenient. I've discovered that I can leave both diffusors installed and still fold it, though it's obviously bulkier. This has good spring action making it pop open into a very tight box. It's not flimsy in the least.I got this for small product photography and as a secondary diffused source for international travel when photographing people.Just picked up the grid for it as well.5
