    Work well This bulb works well lights evenly after about 15 seconds makes a soft not glaring light. It is a little dim more like a 30 watt bulb than a 40 watt. 4Glad I bought it. Works great! 5Last for 7 Years burning 24/7 I use these lights as night lights. I don't like a dark room or coming home to a completely dark house so I leave certain lamps on all the time. I noted when I put in the last bulbs and they lasted as long as the manufacturer said they would. I'm impressed. 7 yrs off one little light bulb burning 24/7! Not bad. I'd say I got my money's worth. 5Perfect for outdoor post light Going on 8 or 9 years now, in an outdoor post light that has a sensor, on at dusk, off at sunrise. I was expecting these to burn out long ago. Wow !! 5Strobe Light on my Portico! I have two sconces on my front porch. I put one smart energy bulb in and it looks great. I put the second bulb in the other sconce and they BOTH start strobing. And I'm not talking a soft candle-light effect, but full on discotheque lighting.Friends with some electrical know-how say they have never seen that before and nobody seems to know why. Just a heads up if you're planning to use them on a porch with multiple lights. 2
