    These things just work! My present staple gun does not accept anything to deal with Romex cable. So instead of buying another tool, i decided on 100 of these. Already had a Nextec Autohammer, so i decided that this was a good compromise. These fasteners did the job safely and effectively. I fastened all the new cable i had run, plus the previous owners shoddy runs. They look professional and quality built. Compared to metal staples, i would choose these everytime as they are less likely to damage a cable IMHO. Another thing to think about, with these fasteners you can install them with a hammer at all times, with others if the device you are using fails you are SOL. So i highly recommend these. 5Keep yout Romex neat and in place If you run Romex electrical wire across an unfinished attic, it will be vulnerable to being tripped over or snagged by anyone working in the attic in the future, especially if it's hidden under blown in insulation. These staples help to keep the runs straight and secured along beams where the wire is less likely to be snagged.These Gardner Bender Staples were easy to work with. They are a sturdy piece of plastic with a short nail on each side. I have seen less expensive staples made of a single piece of 'U' shaped metal, but for a dollar or so, I'd rather have plastic holding the electric wires. 5Wire? You can't go wrong with these provided you don't mistake them for giant staples. If you do they'll ruin your dissertation in a flash. But if you're hanging Romex or other suitable wire, they do the trick. Also good to scatter here and there to impress your friends who will think you know so much about hanging wire you have enough of these to misplace and still hone your craft.They work great! 5Worth the wait, if you are planning to use them for a project. Worth the price when purchased through add on items, as the price then matches that of the competitive big box stores.These are made of great quality, and definitely do the job right. I'm doing 2 at a time cables of coax or cat6 in this (right side of pic) and these work very well. they stand up to a little tug if you're moving wires around. Soft enough plastic part to flex and not break. I've been able to pull these out and reuse, even after 7months outside in the shade. Used for 14/2 romex and ethernet (different runs) without issues. 5Works I used this to hold electrical wall wire (NM 12/2) to joists. I like these, but I have to say that the nails bent so easily that I replaced them with other stainless steel brads. The brad length is "long," but I liked that since I was hanging 120V and 240V (20A, 60 Hz) cabling. The white part does not break easily, but they can be mashed to "ugly" pretty easily. 4Excellent Staples Nails are thin, sharp, and extra strong! I had a tight space between wall studs to install them over the 12-2 Romex wire. Could not use a regular hammer as there was not enough room for it to fit in between studs. Instead I used a 4 oz brass gunsmith mallet as the head was only 2 inches long. I was surprised to see these tough thin nails dig into the wood with each blow. Clamps held securely. 5Didn't work for me These didn't work for me, but they also weren't expensive, so I'm not very upset about it. The nails were too thin and bent too easily. I imagine that it would work okay in many situations where major renovations are taking place or in new construction. However, I was working in a cramped attic trying to wire my new recessed lighting. If I didn't hit the nail perfectly, it bent over and was unusable, which was rather challenging in the heat, dim light, and cramped spaces. I quickly gave up on these. 3
