I wasn't sure I'd like these, but I do... I recently replaced my outdoor light fixtures and used these bulbs instead of incandescents. The flame effect is random, so it doesn't look fake and - since mine are behind frosted glass, you really can't tell that they're not gas lamps.5Best flame bulb out thereI watched a few different Youtubers reviewing this bulb and others. This bulb came out on top and I bought it along with the Hudsen which came in at 2nd place with one Youtuber. The Hudsen was still crap compared to this brand, looking more like a digital flame. The Omicoo bulb is THE best and most realistic looking flame bulb out there right now. It has '4' modes. I was bummed about this at first thinking the bulb was unfit for scenarios where you'd be switching the light on and off regularly, like a bedside lamp, and I'd have to power cycle through 3 modes every time. Then I discovered just waiting a few seconds before turning it back on still retains the previous mode, and to switch modes you just power cycle it quickly till you get to the mode you want. This bulb is also double the watts at 6 watts and higher brightness (320 lumens) as opposed to 3 watt (200 lumens) for the Hudsen. Brightness of the Omicoo is perfect for my ouside front porch area, where I think the 200 would be too dim anyway. Great product Omicoo!5Flame Light These lights look very nice but I have had them for less than a month and one is already burned out. I will definitely buy more.Note on website says is a 4 mode but the one I received is a 3 mode. mode 1 : flames. mode 2: steady light. mode 3: slow dimm high and low.5Cool behind frosted glass, not by themselvesI bought these to mount upside down in my house coach lights. They look pretty cool behind frosted glass. They do NOT look like the real flame pictured in the ad all by themselves, at all!. They look much more pixelated by themselves, so you need to put them behind frosted or bubble glass to make it look real.Also, many people asked how to change the modes, from constant on, slow fade (breath), or regular flame, and how to use them on a timer or daylight sensor system where the lights go on and off automatically. To be clear, these change modes only when you turn them off and back on within 10 seconds! If its greater than 10 seconds the mode doesn't change. So I set mine to flame mode, then put them on a daylight sensor. They turn off in the morning, and come back on at night, and the mode is always the same.The last thing is I wish they were brighter and less orange, but overall I am happy to put them out for a few days at Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas etc. Just don't expect them to light up you house or yard very well at all.4Very distinctive look...adds great curb appeal!! I recently upgraded the exterior lights on my home and wanted the look of gas lights without the exorbitant costs.So, I decided to purchase some LED flame light bulbs to emulate the flickering fire effect of gas lights.After researching several brands, I decided to purchase these bulbs because they have 108 LEDs (which is the most I've seen in a flame bulb), offered 4 different modes (other brands offer less), the life-span is 100,000 hours (much more than other brands) and the price was extremely affordable.I was a little worried that the color would be too orange based on some of the other reviews. However, I was very happy with the color, which closely resembles a real flame. I have received plenty of compliments about how the gas light look instantly added extra curb appeal to my home. I do have the lights installed in frosted lampshade, per the vendor's recommendation, which I think is key to getting a realistic look.I ordered the 4 pack and one of the bulbs didn't work in upside down mode. I contacted FU GLOBAL and notified them about the problem, and they responded promptly and immediately sent met two replacement bulbs! The replacement bulbs worked fine in all 4 modes. Two thumbs up for the top notch customer service!!I couldn't be happier with these bulbs and would highly recommend them if you have a light fixture with a frosted lampshade!5They're very nice. Couple of notesInstalled these yesterday on my patio. They're very nice.Couple of notes: They're larger than I expected, about 2 1/2" in diameter, and 4 1/2" tall.They're orange. Really orange, but that's OK in my case.The flame effect is well done, but is repetitive. Kinda looks like a video playing inside the light bulb.The other "modes" aren't really special, just solid orange, and pulsing orange. I think you get to them by turning the light on and off, and on again, cycling through the modes. I *think* after it's off for a while, it defaults back to the flame mode, but I'm not 100% certain.All in all though, I like 'em!4Deliberately Lowered QualityI used to love these. I bought some, loved them, bought some more, gave them to friends.A few days ago, I bought six. Something seemed noticeably wrong, so I popped one open.These are much lower quality than the previous ones. Fewer LEDs inside, much less definition in the animations, less bright, lower quality parts.These aren't something I would buy again. I guess I'll try some other brands.1They actually DO look just like gas lights!!I recently installed a three light outdoor lamp post and purchased these based on other customer reviews. Honestly, these are truly wonderful! They are very very realistic. They look just like old fashioned gas lights.(very orange in color , which I love) We have had people drive by the house and obviously slow down to look at them. I also have a porch light next to my door and put a light in there as well. Unfortunately it blew out within 24 hours. I ordered 4 more bulbs so that I could replace the porch light and have some back ups. I am hoping I just got 1 bad bulb and the rest will last for the stated time frame. I would like to return the 1 bad bulb for a replacement. So if the company reads this please reach out and let me know how I can do this. So far I absolutely love this product and I can highly recommend!5
