    Great little instant camera-alternative to Polaroid This camera came as advertised. Included a camera bag as well. The camera takes small pictures but that is good for mailings and glueing to post cards. The camera has four settings to cover all shooting conditions, generally. I had a little trouble getting the camera to work initially. The camera said I had dead batteries when they were brand new. I realized the metal contacts inside the camera were not making contact to one of the batteries. I had to pry the metal contact up a bit to make contact then all worked well. Alternative to Polaroid - I suspect both brands are made by the same company. 4Instant Gratification My daughter loves this camera. I'm amazed at how instant cameras have become popular with kids... I think being able to get a print instantly is so different than the digital lives they lead. Film is very expensive at about a dollar a photo. Do what I do... put it on your Amazon wish list and monitor it daily. If you're diligent you will eventually see huge price fluctuations and be able to buy some at a much cheaper price (shhh, that's a secret!) 5film is expensive, but cute idea It's cute to instantly get mini pictures that you can keep or give out as party favors. If you plan to use it a lot during a party, keep extra batteries because the flash really drains the battery. After about 10 pictures, the pictures came out really dark, so either give the camera a good rest or carry spare batteries with you. The film is a little pricey, but for special occasions, it's worth it. 4love it! this is easy to turn on just by gently pulling on the lens thing and it has a nice flash etc. this is the need to have thing on a vacation. it has a very nice camera. it uses 5 batteries but you dont have to change the batterie much at all. 5Much better than the Polaroid stuff you can get now... This camera is a lot of fun to use and the pictures come out looking very nice, as long as you choose the right setting for the light. I took the camera on a trip to Paris recently and the pictures are my favorite. I also took along an old polaroid with some Impossible film (first time to try it!) and was sorely disappointed by how badly the pictures turned out compared to the little Fuji. The photos come out a little dark sometimes, but you get acclimated to setting up good pictures very quickly.It's a great break from digital photos and they make nice mementos. There are also a ton of products that you can get to accompany the camera... such as different lenses, cases, and photo albums. I'm going to spring for a wide angle lens and a macro lens soon.Definitely recommend buying. Also think that it would be a great gift for kids who are stuck in the digital age. 5instant film is back This.is an awesome little camera.It has many different modes which I recommend useing. I got this as a gift for mothers day to adf to my collection od cameras this is perfect for scrap booking and instant pictures for kids parties I always keep it out to take that snap shot that I cant miss only con is the price of film and ugly cases, I woyld say its bulky but its an improvement from the old ones 5fun- picture quality not great I bought this to take on a special cruise that encorporates music and costumes and thought it would be fun to take pictures and gift them to their subjects. For this purpose its a great little camera. You get instant gratification and people really love the nastalgia of this old style camera. 3Good ~ Better than I expected.Good quality picture and small, so it is convenient to carry around.Size of picture is small, so Please make sure to check the size before you purchase. 5Awesome Camera for Parties!! The only reason I give this 4 Stars is because it is a little bulky - Otherwise it meets all my expectations. It is very easy to operate (has selections for indoor, cloudy, sunny) and the clarity of pictures is awesome. I have used the pictures as party favours and the guests love it. They find it amusing to take a little memory of the party away with them. Kids enjoy watching the pictures develop right in front of them.Another con for the camera is the size of the picture and the cost of the film - however, I knew what I was getting into so it was not an issue for me. I suggest buying the film in bulk from Amazon. Fuji has done a great job in pulling on the nostalgic strings. I will probably invest in smaller version as well. 4Love my Instax! This camera is great fun at parties or other events where you might want to capture the moment in an immediate way. It's always a big hit - people are oddly fascinated by instant photography!I really love the blue and white color scheme. It's super cute.Make sure you always choose the right light setting for whatever place you're in when you take the picture. I find that the photos almost always turn out great if I choose the right setting, but sometimes I forget to switch it.The flash can't be turned off, which might annoy some folks, but you could always tape over it with black tape.I bought the package Amazon offers which contains the camera, two packs of film, and a carrying case, all for about $100. I'm pleased with the value offered for this price. The film is sometimes more expensive than I'm willing to pay, but it's still much more affordable than Polaroid film, so I'm happy overall.As a Canada-dweller, I should note that Instax photos don't always turn out so well when taken in the freezing cold. I usually try to cover the emerging photo with my hand while it comes out of the camera, to protect it from the cold, and then I tuck it into my coat pocket while it develops. This seems to alleviate the problems of milky/washed-out photos from cold.I love that this camera is small enough to tuck into my Coach Station handbag for a night out! 5
