A decent light for the moneyThis is a decent light for the money. Barndoors are not really effective since it has so many LED's that they help a little keeping light off a little bit but throws weird shadows all around. 2100 Lumens seems like a lot until you have to start using this to balance daylight in a room and then it is not very effective. Decent construction although compared to professional grade lighting equipment this is a toy. Umbrella holder will make this a useful studio light and a good adjunct when you need some easy to use location lighting. Wish they had a battery adapter like on my light panel. I knew what I was buying so no real surprises.4Color Varies from Other StudioPRO LEDsI intended to use this with the StudioPRO 600 LED Panel I bought a month or so ago, but there's just too much difference in the color of the light. I mistakenly assumed both panels use the same type of bulb, but that's not the case, and I suspect that's the source of the color variation. This one seems to have more blue in it, and when I use it with the 600 LED panel, the color difference is really obvious. It's a very nice light for the money, but you may be disappointed if you try to combine it with other StudioPRO panels.4Lightweight and powerful. Great for small studio setups for product photography.Nicely packaged. Easy to use. Powerful. Lightweight. I'm using for a small product photo studio area, and combined with other light modifiers and diffusers I'm very happy with them. (I have three).4I am quite pleased with this purchaseI purchased this to add a hair light for video interviews. It's much brighter than I thought it would be and small enough to fit in my case. I chose this over a conventional fresnel because I didn't want to deal with heat. I am quite pleased with this purchase.5This is a great light at a great valueThis is a great light at a great value. I m using it as a hair light / chroma key separation light.Even at 6 feet or so I have to turn it down below 50%, plenty of power.It has a very long cable too which is a big plus.My only complaint is that you apparently can t add a filter if you have the light installed upside down. I have a ceiling mount so this is a bit of a problem.Even so, I will be buying another.5Would recommend and will be buying more.Have purchased a few different versions of these studiopro lights over the past couple years. All of them still working good. Light adjust smoothly from dim to bright. Gives off a nice even white light. Though they do not seem to be real durable, they have held up well.5and these work great. The barn door attachments on the light are ...Have been using these for for 7 months now, have left them on for hours at a time, and not one problem out of these. Have been photographing parts for transmissions with a white background, most other non LED lighting leaves a yellow tint that you might not notice until you start editing. Using LED lighting is the way to go IMO, and these work great. The barn door attachments on the light are kind of flimsy, but have held up.5Perfect spot light that is lightweight and is the ideal travel or permanent light for your studio.The Foritec Studio Pro Premium Spot Daylight LED has now replaced my Professional Tungsten spot that I ve been using for many years for my hair light spot. It s perfect. This spot is lightweight and only consumes 25 watts of power. I would recommend this light to any serious photographer/cinematographer.5Good light. Seems to leave a slight pattern on backgrounds and subject, likely because of the LED light source. Diffusers are a great addition, but they did warp after a few uses.4Decent Background LightIt's okay. I use this as strictly a background light. The dimmer is kind of weird. The light gains (or decreases) in jerky fashion as you turn the knob. The mounting frame on the one I got seems to be a bit bent- off angle a little. It's still usable but it antagonizes my OCD type tendencies.3
