Awesome for a Canon Rebel DSLR kit, holds all my lenses from 50 mm all the way up to 300 mm They hold all my lenses perfectly. I have from smallest;1.50 mm lens (smallest bag)2. 50 mm compact macro (second to smallest)3. 18-55 mm (medium)4. 75-300 mm (largest)The bags are great for lens covers for walking around with. When I'm using a lens, I put the lens cap, and both the end cap and image sensor cap into the bag and cinch it tight. So far only my 75-300 has a hood, which fits without an issue. I just ordered two hoods for my other lenses and I will update as soon as I get them. I have absolutely no complaints about this item. 5Thick... Good Protection. Nice Pouches... and for a very decent price. Thick, Good protection.Chose these out of three different sets of pouches I was deliberating over for my camera lenses, flashes and teleconverter.After receiving them am now confident I made the right choice.There's been a recent design move towards cross body camera bags that don't **Look** like camera bags that areuseful for other purposes besides photography. These new bags are soft sided and come with "some" foam inserts but notenough for all I want to keep protected. Why I bought these bags.These FotoTech Pouches are useful for other purposes than photography as well. 5Nice lens pouch, but bulky This are nice, well padded pouches. A slight knockdown as they are actually bulkier than expected. For my Canon T3i lenses they are actually too wide by a bit, so the lens "floats" when inside the pouch. Since they are in a bag, it doesn't matter, but if you were to use the clip to hang these from something, I would be a bit concerned. The largest size is also quite large, so it isn't of use to me, at least right now. I would have preferred to trade the large for either of the middle sizes, but at this price point, and for the quality of the pouches, I can't really complain. I recommend these highly. 4Too Narrow! They seem to be a great protection alternative from the leather pouches that came with the lenses I have. I was hoping to use these for my 70-200 2.8 II, 70-300L, 24-70 2.8 II, and my 50 1.2 but the only one that will fit well into one is my 24-70 2.8 II, into the second largest pouch. The 70-300L's body is a bit wider then the opening of the pouch. I tried squeezing it in but it wouldn't go any farther where the rubber focus or zoom ring meet the opening. I was concerned that if I really gotten it in then I will have a hard time getting out. Same goes with the 50 1.2L lens and it too big for the smallest pouch. But with the 70-200 2.8 II lens, it will fit the largest pouch if you stretch the opening for awhile to get it stretched out before using it. And of course forget about trying to leave the lens's hood on or even the tripod ring mount on any of the lenses, it will not work! So instead of returning the set, I used the largest for the 70-200 2.8 II lens, second largest pouch for the 24-70 2.8II, the third for my Sirui K-10x Ball Head and or my Manfrotto 055 Magnesium Ball Head, and the smallest is pretty much useless, or eventually, maybe I'll find a use for it later.Now all I need to do is to figure out where or how am I going to carry the lens hoods and tripod ring mounts of my lenses! 2Excellent Set of Lens Pouches Yes these pouches are thick, as advertised, and what I wanted! Quality is good. I just noticed that the stitching at the top of one of the bags is starting to come apart unfortunately - probably because I put a lens slightly too small for the case and pulled it tight. They are very versatile because they can be used in a case (the AmazonBasics Backpack for SLR Cameras and Accessories-Black in my case), attached to a belt (through the belt loop) attached to other things with the latch, or in another bag. They do take up more space than a thin case (duh) - the draw string and clip on the top of the case take up room! Since they are thick they retain their shape and may not pack nearly in a small space. Protection is excellent which is why I got them)! I would not call the inside velvet, it is the same neoprene as on the outside (in case you thought the inside is lined based on the description - it is not).I would not use this to store lenses with hoods (even reversed) because they do not fit in the opening (other than my 52mm in the large bag - and its too big for that bag anyways). The bag is so thick that I would worry I would compress the hood without knowing it.None of the pouches fit like a glove with my lenses, but I was not expecting that (the Canon pouches would be in the hundreds of dollars). The small fits my Canon 40mm loosely. The medium holds my Canon 28mm loosely. The large fits my Canon 10-22mm and Canon 18-125 loosely. The extra large fits my Canon 70-300 very loosely. I can't step down any of them or they fit too tight (and start unraveling the stitching - don't do that!)One of the reasons I bought this was the excellent reviews on Amazon - and was not disappointed. Add mine to the 5 star rating! 5Much better than expected, and great quality materials... Better product than I had expected. Thick and padded for great lens protection. Each pouch also has a clip at the top so that you can attach it to the outside of your gear bag if you are in a situation where you need to quickly change lenses without having to open up your gear bag and go digging around for what you need. They also included a free tiny gray drawstring bag which fits the spare camera battery perfectly (or even for extra memory cards).I use only three of the black pouches right now, and can use the largest one in the future for when I eventually get a larger telephoto lens. Strongly recommended! 5Failure to Fit Okay build quality, but they don't fit the lenses like the photos show! I can maybe use the small one to fit a Nikkor 50 f1.8D, and the second largest fits my 105 Micro-Nikkor, but the other two are essentially useless.The big one will NOT fit a Nikkor 70-200 f2.8.I was looking to some more compact alternatives to the large ballistic nylon cases that came with my pro lenses (14-24, 24-70, 70-200) and none of the lenses fit in any of these! 2Not good for Sony E Mount Lens This is a review based on the Sony E Mount lens owner.I bought the 4-set and really the only usable one for me is the smallest one.The small fits my 30mm macro and 35mm prime pretty well. It too big for the 16-50mm power zoom or fixed pancake lenses.The medium fits my 55-210mm lens good for length but still has a lot of wiggle room in the diameter.The large and x-large are just huge. I mean these are for giant full frame zoom lenses.The cases are also screen printed with the word "MATIN" about an inch wide and in silver foil. Not sure what that's all about but it's not shown in the pictures.Even though these don't work for me there quality is good. 3Great stuff... These are fantastic... The quality is really good as is the stitching... Fit... Okay, the smallest fits my Nifty-Fifty (Canon 50mm 1.8) (52mm) perfectly. The next size up fits my Sigma 30mm 1.4 (62mm) with hood (backwards) perfectly. The next size up fits my Canon 15-85 (72mm) perfectly without the hood. With the hood (backwards), it's very snug but it fits. The largest is very big. My guess is that it would fit a 70-200 F4 L or F2.8 L. But since I own neither, I cannot say with certainty. My 55-250 with a hood (either direction) is swimming in it. 5exactly what I needed I only wish I'd ordered more of these, and sooner!These feel well made, the included sizes fit most of my lenses well (Nikon/Nikkor 50, 18-55, 18-140, 55-300, 70-300). The Bower 8mm fisheye and Tokina 11-16 leave tons of head space in the pouches that fit their diameter. The second largest pouch offers plenty of room for my 70-300 lens, I have no idea what do with the largest.Each pouch has an included external pocket with it's own lens cloth. 5
