    Great design! Great follow Up!I ve had three models of the iPad, starting with Gen 4, and including the Air and the current 2017 model.I ve used covers from Apple and from other manufacturers. I tried at least three covers for the current model before selecting this cover from Fintie.It s light, appears well made, and the design, to me, is superior to the Apple cover for two reasons. First, the back is hard plastic, result8ng in a firmer attachment. Second, the easel design on the Fintie is more stable than Apple s tri-fold cover.Since I ve only been using it a week or so, I can t vouch for its durability.UPDATE: Its now been two weeks and I m still extremely satisfied. In addition to the excellent product, Fintie is tops in desiring customer satisfaction. I have had two emails from them asking if I m satisfied and urging me to contact them if I m not. 5Love the design, not the qualityThis case looks great and fits well. I really like the design of this case. It works well to hold the iPad at a variety of angles without slipping, the magnet is strong enough to hold it closed, and the sleep/wake function works fine. The quality leaves be desired. After less than 3 months of light use, I stared getting cracks in the corners, and a big chunk of plastic broke off one of them. The iPad was never dropped or treated roughly enough to cause that kind of damage. Now the case no longer stays on securely so it will need to be replaced. 2GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICEArrived immediately. Fits well. Works great. -- UPDATE - after a day to two I received an email from the seller asking if I was pleased with my order. I explained that I was however they may want to take a look at how the openings were cut near my volumn buttons. The seller responded immediately and it was determined that I had in fact ordered the wrong case. This one was for iPad Air. I have an iPad Air 2. The seller proactively offered to take the case back and replace it with the correct model. I turned them down because the mistake was mine however I can not emphasize enough how impressed I was with the customer service. I would give even more star to this seller if it were possible. 5Love this iPad cover!My original Apple cover for my iPad Air fell apart after three years. After browsing the options for replacements on Amazon, I settled for this Fintie cover in a beautiful tree design. When it arrived and I easily plopped my iPad into it, I was impressed how easy that was. I checked that all of the holes lined up perfectly. Then I folded the cover back and tried placing it into each of the five slots provided for five different viewing angles and I fell in love! It stays in place securely because it is magnetic. And the whole thing sits there on my table completely stable and secure while I browse, watch videos, type, or even use it to prop up a magazine that I want to read while I eat lunch. I also use it on my lap when I am sitting in my recliner. And when I close it, it automatically turns the iPad off. This is much superior to my original Apple cover and just a joy to use. I love it!!! 5Design flaw - case cracks at corners after little use - do not buySummary - Save your money and buy something else. Case cracks at the corners after little use and becomes worthless as it won't hold the iPad.I originally purchased one of these cases in late 2017 when my iPad was new. After about a year of use, the case was useless as the iPad would not stay in it. The case cracks at the rounded corners. Eventually the crack results in the plastic at the corner breaking away. Once this happens at two corners, the case is useless. My original lasted a year. As I removed my iPad from the case multiple times in that year, and because I dropped it once, I thought the issue might have been my fault so I decided to give the case another try. I bought a second one and it has started to crack and fail with 1 month of use. The iPad was inserted once and has not been removed. The case / iPad has not been dropped. It has already cracked at one corner and is starting to fail. Buy something else - this case has been a waste, 2x. 1Mom was complaining that she needed a new iPad because ...Mom was complaining that she needed a new iPad because whenever she opened it up it had lost its charge. I realized that it was warped and purchased this for her. The quality is great--one thing that I truly appreciated was that the patter on the back matches up with the kickstand when closed. The kickstand and cover are magnetic so it will sleep/wake the iPad and also the kickstand will stay attached to the base--feels very secure for use on your lap, passing it, or putting it onto a table.Would definitely purchase this again. 5Corners peeled off after 2 monthsI am very dissatisfied with the product. Two corners just came off after 2 months of not heavy use. It wasn t dropped, they just peeled off. I will buy from a different company now. 1Take your own riskDisappointed. Although arrived before scheduling, and pretty (bought one shown in teal) It does not fit properly. Tried, tried and tried. One corner will not hold at all! I needed it to fit my new apple iPad 91/2 for protection on a trip. Shameful. Want to return but it s not worth it. For now I've added a rubber band. See my picture.If this company wants to send me a new one that fits properly, and a prepaid return envelope, I will gladly send back one that doesn't hold, and will revaluate my review. Wouldn t not buy again, nor suggest buying. Save you $$. 1Great case, just what I neededSo far, I love this case and it works absolutely perfect for what I needed it for! When I just recently got an iPad Air for work; I was looking for a nice case that could stand up to use for checking out clients with a stable stand, multiple heights available, have the case be sleek enough to fit a card reader attachment on the side, and have a cover to close and protect the screen when it s not it use. This checks all those must have boxes for me. I can t say anything yet about the long term use of it and how well it stands up over time, because I ve only had this for one day so far. I will update my review as I use it though. The material on the outside doesn t feel very sturdy, but for the price of this I think it s just perfect. 5So disappointed with my second cover.I first ordered this cover in July of 2017. I absolutely loved it. It lasted for two years before one corner broke off and my ipad occasionally fell out. So I reordered the exact same thing at the end of this July. With less than six weeks use two corners are already chipped and the thin piece of plastic near the speakers is broken. At this rate I doubt I will get six months out of this cover. I don t know what changed, but had I reviewed the one I bought two years ago, I would have given it five stars. This one? Barely two. It is very pretty and I love the magnetic back and multi level stand. But the quality is gone.10/22 edited to add the the black plastic edge is broken in multiple places now. My six month estimate was much too optimistic. Changed my rating to one star as the case is no longer usable. I don t know what the manufacturer changed, but they ruined a great product. Even if this was a case of a bad batch- I doubt I will purchase from them again. 1
