Excellent camera for the price!!This is an excellent value. For those having trouble connecting, first make sure you're on a 2.4 GHz WiFi network. Next, make sure when you first enter the app to connect the camera, click "add camera via WiFi setup." Do not try to change the user name and password when adding the camera for the first time, that is for if/when you want to log into a camera that's already setup. I use this for a baby monitor. You have to have the app open and the volume up, but my phone charges while running the app so it works for us. Both my girls share a room and you can set presets, so I can quickly aim the camera from one to the other. I'm going to order a couple more for our front and back door. Also, faleemi support is awesome!!5Night vision no longer works.This worked great for about 6 weeks. Now it only works in daylight and the night vision doesn t work at all!1I was pretty sure there was something wrong with the product because ...Went back to Amazon today. The camera was working after the initial setup. However, the next morning, the phone app showed a BLACK SCREEN. Rebooting the camera through the app and powering it off and on just wouldn't cut it. I could see the menu and even adjust the pan and tilt, but couldn't not see a thing on the screen! Unable to do anything, I just left it there. But after a couple of hours, I rechecked the status and the screen was NORMAL. So, I thought it was perhaps a one-time glitch and would still keep the product before I checked it again (without doing anything in between) after a couple of hours and the BLACK SCREEN was staring at me again! Same thing, I could still see the menu on the app and could adjust pan and tilt. I was pretty sure there was something wrong with the product because while all this was happening, I had another Faleemi camera (a gift from a friend, which triggered my purchase of this camera) connected on the same network and it was functioning fine. So that eliminated possible network problems. If only the quality of the product matches its appearance and the packaging. 5-start for Amazon's return policy!1Works as it should, great value, great product.Everything was great, didn't even need the instructions. Awesome product, extremely happy I can access from outside the network the camera exists on. Will definitely be ordering the 1080p model in a few weeks!If you need faces, then spring for the 1080p, this camera is really clear during the day, but the night vision does not pull faces well. (But that's a given with 720p and nightvision) Otherwise for just basic monitoring this product is fantastic.Pan/Tilt/Zoom works great! App is mostly user friendly I would say, but take that with a grain of salt as I am an IT person by profession. I love that I can unplug this thing and move it around freely, I can put it in the front window and watch from bed when I'm expecting a package. Look elsewhere.1which is pretty clearly I can recognize their face and can see ...I have used it for 6 month now. It is working okay so far, not much complaint. You have to know you get what you pay for it. Do not expect HD, high quality image and a lot of functions.The main purpose for me is to watch my kids and their friends paying at the basement. When they play at basement, I can watch them through app my Galaxy phone, which is pretty clearly I can recognize their face and can see that they are doing. App works good at my wife's Iphone too.Since it has a tilt function, I can navigate the camera around basement and can see from corner to corner. There are zoom and two way voice talk functions, which are useless.When light is off, it provides still pretty good screen, which I can still see and trace them. I don't record it. I only turn my app on whenever the kid play at basement. No record, but it is on 24/7 since last October.With that price, I am pretty happy and I might get one more for living area and second floor.4Great PriceUpdating my review: One flaw/negative is the security alarm aspect. I had it set and it seemed like every minute I'd get an alert so I'd check the app...and there was no movement on the recorded video.Pretty excellent camera for $40. Set up is a breeze if you first read through all of the instructions. When getting it to connect to WiFi your phone will make an awful noise - I kept trying to muffle the noise. Well, turn the page and read that's what it uses to connect the camera to the WiFi via the phone (lmao).I'm using this to keep an eye on my dogs while I'm at work. I've already checked on them a few times - plus used the microphone feature. The only negative is that when I try to go back into the app I'll be greeted by a black screen so I'm forced to restart the app. Which in the grand scheme is no big deal.I also never realized how cluttered/messy my apartment was when looking at it on camera o_O4Another Great Product From FaleemiI already own the FSC880, it is a very inexpensive, high quality, 1080P indoor surveillance camera. Then I saw they came out with a slightly smaller, and less expensive 720P camera, the FSC776, and thought it would be perfect for my sunroom, it allows me to capture wildlife in my backyard. The camera has exactly the same super easy setup as the FSC880. I use an iPhone, and just went to the App Store and downloaded the app, went thru the add camera via WiFi configuration guide, make sure you re connected using the 2.4Ghz side of your WiFi, (this is a 2.4Ghz camera only) and in a couple of minutes it s working. If you want it to work on your PC or Mac, you can use the app on the CD that's included, or like I did, go to the website and download the software, a PDF of the manual is there also, but there s a paper manual included with the package. It also works in Internet Explorer on the PC, or Safari on the Mac. It works with other browsers also, such as Chrome, and Firefox. The FSC776 doesn't have as high of resolution as the FSC880, but you can't beat it for the price. I know from personal experience, they're very nice people.5Almost perfect for the priceI wanted to love this camera, but I didn't quite get there. The camera is easy to use, it has a decent 1MP image,and the remote pan/tilt and night vision also work well. I did not put an SD card in, but I was still able to capture pictures directly to my Android devices (both phone and tablet). I like that you have the option of turning off the red night vision lights, though I found that the picture in a dark room was significantly better with the red lights turned on.I was not able to get the camera to connect to one of my routers, but it did connect to another router. (I believe the reason was the non-standard encryption on my first router wasn't compatible with the camera.) Something that isn't mentioned in the instructions that you should be aware of, is that during initial configuration the mobile app communicates with the camera via sound. The sound it makes is quite loud so I wouldn't configure the camera around sleeping babies. (Or dogs like mine that get freaked out by weird sounds.) Once configuration is complete (30 seconds) you won't have to deal with that sound ever again.Even though I liked this camera, I ended up returning it for one simple reason: if you leave it in monitor mode (so you can see and hear the audio constantly), if it disconnects for some reason (out of range, interference, etc), it doesn't auto-reconnect on its own (though it looks like it's trying). You have to hit the back button and then click on the camera option again. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, and if I were using the camera to monitor my pets or just as general security I wouldn't have minded, but I intended to use it as a baby monitor, and I can't have it disconnect in the middle of the night and stay disconnected. Note this issue is with their Android app, I'm not sure if the issue happens with the iPhone app or 3rd party software. But with my baby due any day now, I didn't have time to test alternative software.For the price, I would recommend this camera, but not if you intend to use it as your only baby monitor. I think the reconnect issue could possibly be solved in the software, so maybe a future software update will address this. For pets this should be great as is.As a side note, I am impressed with the company and their customer service. I had some questions for them and they were quick to respond, their answers were very thorough, and they were receptive to my suggestions. I would certainly consider purchasing from them again.4HIGHLY RECOMMEND!This is AMAZING! The picture quality is fantastic. Pan and tilt works great so I can see from my back door to my front door, floor to ceiling. Can be mounted on any small, flat surface (ceiling, floor, wall - I have mine on a 1" ledge of my fireplace). Speaker and microphone sounds are clear. Extremely happy doesn't even cover my satisfaction. I just purchased another one to replace an item, of a different brand from a different seller, that I'm returning of which I paid 3x more for.5
