FANTASTIC Excellent! Price is right, and very easy to convert to this sealed product. I used thin window foam tape to seal around the rim to the ceiling for an airtight fit to ensure attic air is not seeping in. 5Great lights with plenty of lumen output Great lights with plenty of lumen output. The higher output than most 4 inch led is dramatic. Love these. 5Inexpensive Retrofit This LED downlight is a little bit different than most LEDs I have tested, since it is made to fit in pre-existing cans. Hence, it is referred to as a retrofit. Oddly, it makes no reference to this fact on the outside of the box. It is simply sold as a 5-6" downlight. This distinction is pretty important as it makes a difference in the lamp's size.There is an odd sticker that comes with the package that states, "THIS LUMINAIRE HAS BEEN MODIFIED AND CAN NO LONGER OPERATE THE ORIGINALLY INTENDED LAMP. REPLACE ONLY WITH EURILIGHTING MODEL # DLC-3041e". I'm not sure where this sticker is intended to go or who is supposed to read it, but it seems oddly out of place.The installation is a pretty tight fit with the cans that I had installed. I have to imagine that how well it fits will vary greatly upon your hardware and its installation. Once installed, it gives off a very bright light that you would never want to stare directly into. It reminds me of the early "full spectrum" LED bulbs that I worked with when LED first came out. The lighting is a bit harsh for a residential installation, in my opinion. The instructions are pretty simple. Your installation may very well vary from what is shown. At their current price, this fixture is a pretty good deal if you are in the market for a retrofit. 4Bright recessed lighting upgrade easy to install We've been switching to LED lighting for the low cost and long life. This is a great upgrade for those cans of recessed lighting. Easy to install. Just replace the existing bulb with the E26 adapter, attach that to the unit and push it up into the can. Done. While it is only a 90 degree beam I was impressed how much light it put out. It works great in our six foot wide laundry room with the light starting less than six inches from the ceiling. In other words, it lights it up very well.Kelvin, true color, white lighting are one issue I have with LED lighting, you really only get a bright white light. Whether 5000K (like this one) or 3000K to me they all look white. I have yet find an LED lighting system that is a warm light. For a white light these are great and work very well and yes I suppose you will get true color because it is white light. And they are very bright. But if you are replacing a warm bulb you may be surprised and find LEDs to be very bright.Overall, an excellent canned light upgrade that is easy to install and puts out a lot more light than regular incandescent or CFL. 5Five Stars these are very nice quality and simple to install. Great value for the price. 5Bright, Focused LED Light I have tested quite a number of these LED replacements for "can" lights over the past few months. This Yuri 4" model is a bit different than most I have tried though.First of all, the 900 lumen LED provides plenty of light. It seems to focus the light in a much tighter pattern than others I have installed though. This is probably what explains the device's bell-shaped design. The vast majority of these replacements are either flat, or at least nearly flat looking. This one takes up a bit more space, but the result is a more focused area of illumination. This would seem to make it especially useful in tight areas like kitchens.By contrast, the device's width is a bit small at only 4". Most of the LED replacements I have seen are either 5 or 6", so be sure to order for the size you are replacing. Despite its smaller circumference, the LED uses about as much energy and gives off about as much light as its larger counterparts, albeit focusing on a narrower area.Obviously, prices are subject to change. I find it a bit odd that the shipping cost at the moment for this device is nearly as much as the price it is selling for though. At $12.99 is it definitely an excellent deal. Throw-in the shipping costs and it is pretty similar to LEDs of similar size and brightness in terms of though. 4Easy, worthwhile retrofit The Euri 4" can line retrofit fixture couldn't be easier to install. Simply ease out the old fixture and insert the small threaded part into the spot where the old light bulb was. Plug the wires into the new fixture and insert the new fixture into the opening, aligning the included foam insulation that gives a clean, finished look to the job. Actually, it's easier to do than it is to write about it. The light itself is called Bright White; I believe some manufacturers call it Daylight. It is a very white light, not the softer yellow-toned lights used in many residential settings. It is perfect for the light near the entry from our garage where we put on boots and take off coats. Caution: I originally intended to place this light in another area, but realized that this 4" light cannot be used in the older 5" - 6" openings; there are other retrofit kits for those.I feel much safer with the LED fixture in place. We had an older CFL bulb actually explode and char the edges of another fixture. LEDs generate much less heat, they don't have a warm-up period before reaching full brightness, and they give off more light for the wattage used than CFL bulbs. 54000K Retrofit LED I think it is a good LED retrofit light for 5" or 6" cans.You can bend the 3 prongs out further to make it fit tighter in 6" cans.One thing I really like about these is that because they have a thin bezel flange they flush up to the ceiling nicely.They are very light weight.They come with the orange end as well as an adapter to convert it into a standard bulb socket.The dimming range is very good too. With an adjustable dimmer from a brand like Lutron you can get them to dim very low. I would guess at about 10%.I'm not really a fan of the 4000K color and prefer 3000K to 3500K. But if you like that color temperature it does really light up a space like a garage or playroom.It runs relatively cool only being slightly warm to the touch.I wouldn't hesitate to use these for 4000K retrofit applications. 4Love these! Easy to install Love these! Easy to install, the light is exactly what I wanted and the directional feature is awesome! 5This is so easy to install My initial thoughts were that installation would be a project that included wiring changes, etc. I set aside an hour, but was done in less than 3 minutes! This is so easy to install. No tools required. You don't have to disconnect the socket and rewire to this device. It includes a screw-in adapter with a quick disconnect that mates to one on the device.Unscrew the existing lamp (that's the correct term for "light bulb"), screw in the adapter, plug the fixture into your new power source, push the fixture in, twist slightly, and you're done.The light quality is excellent. And, because this drops the light source down from where it normally is, there is more usable light than having the can block much of what the lamp puts out.This set-up is much better than a retrofit lamp. Instead of cramming the power supply into the socket base and making many design compromises to do that, the engineers have adequate room to include a proper power supply. Better power quality, increased efficiency, less waste heat (so less heat entering the can), and a neater appearance.The downside of this product is, well, non-existent. I will be buying more of these. And I'm going to watch Euri to see if/when they release an LED chandelier light. If they follow the same super-affordability pattern as they did with this product, I won't hesitate to buy it. 5
