Customer Reviews

A must have. Whether it's these or another set Why didn't I get garden knee pads years ago! ? Easy on and off. They are on the large size but that's probably a good thing. Easily washed off. I haven't warn them a ton so I can't speak to the foam interior holding up but for the price I'm not going to be upset if they need replaced every couple of years. Definitely a new staple in my garden! 5Good quality for the money. I had ankle surgery and was confined to a knee roller while I healed. My knee was really sore from rolling around. I purchased these knee pads and it did the trick. My knee doesn't get sore as long as I have the knee pad on. Also, the black blends in with my clothes nicely. I really like them. 5Great knee pads! I ordered these knee pads to give some cushion to my weak old knees for when I have to get down on the floor to clean bathtubs, clean baseboards, and such. They are perfect. Lots of cushion, and they are easy to put on and take off with the adjustable Velcro straps. They do not ride up or down and are very comfortable when I use them over my jeans or other long pants. If I'm doing a lot of cleaning, I just put them on in the morning and wear them all day. They are that comfortable. So glad I purchased these! I don't think you will be disappointed if you order them. I use Amazon Prime, and they arrived right on time in two days. Love Amazon Prime! 5Outstanding quality and value These are by far the best yardwork knee pads I've had.For a long time, I bought Friskars 9430 kneepads because they were inexpensive and did the job. When new, that is. When new, they're flat and the Velcro overlap just made it. After molding to the shape of my legs, the Velcro eventually (in a few weeks) no longer overlapped. After that the only thing holding them together was the fact that the elastic would stick to the stationary pieces of Velcro. More or less. I'd keep having to press them back on. But eventually even that wouldn't work, and at that point I tossed them out. I kept a spare pair on hand for that reason -- I considered them essentially disposable. The elastic would give out and no longer hold at all long before the pad was worn. And the pad was thin and just barely useful. The Ergodyne knee pads are terrific. Not only are they pre-contoured (and even are different for left and right), but the elastic is wider, heavier, and stronger, and doesn't seem to stretch much at all. They're also more comfortable and heavier-duty. And they stay in place. The pads are thicker and stronger, too, and the fabric seems like it'll last a long time.I've tried others that I ordered on Amazon, but they were even worse. I'm sure that professional kneepads might be even better, but that's overkill for my applications. The Ergodynes are definitely good enough for me!I do landscape maintenance on my labor-intensive yard plants and trees, of which there are literally hundreds. The Ergodyne are my new choice for knee pads, and it's clear that they'll last a very long time before needing replacement. 5Decent kneepad I garden. I am not young. Kneepads are not a luxury, they are a necessity. I've tried many. Don't bother with any that only have one strap around your leg. Avoid velcro like the plague. I liked this one for the easy buckle adjustments on the two straps. The only issue I have and I've been using these for a few months now is that the elastic already seems to be loosening up on the straps. This means that one or another of the straps will fall away and if you're not paying attention and you walk across your landscaping on your knees like I do (paying more attention to the plants than to your gear), the whole kneepad can slip out of place quickly. After one painful rock reminder, I now cinch the straps tighter every hour I'm working just to make sure they are holding. 4Comfy! Very comfy on the knees, but the straps are a bit uncomfortable when kneeling down on the back of the knees. Must be wan pretty tight in order for it to not slip, but cuts off circulation a bit if warn like that. I just keep it loose and then pull them into position when kneeling down.Overall keeps the knees nice and pain-free :) 4Not Secure The straps hurt to wear unless you have on long pants. They also slip around easily and the Velcro doesn't keep them on. I always have to readjust the pads or reattach the Velcro. These pads were nicely packaged and good quality, however, they're clearly not meant for someone smaller who has thin legs. 2Lightweight Knee Pads! Easy on & off w/Velcro fasteners! Has material on business side so don't know yet how it will wear but feels comfortable to my old knees when kneeling on gravel, concrete, asphalt etc. due to foam lining on inside! $14 worth of comfort! Thanks again Amazon! 5So soft and sturdy! These have made gardening and cleaning floors SO much better! They are soft enough to keep my knees from hurting and feeling the pressure of my weight on the arthritic bone, but sturdy enough to keep them still an inch from touching the floor. Having the two straps on top and bottom make them more comfortable and easy to manipulate for everyone's body size. I have thicker thighs but smaller calves and the straps were perfectly able to match. 5Not holding up after first use! I bought these for stocking work for my job. I'm on my knees stocking shelves 25% of my shift and I need something that doesn't fall apart. I put these on and for about 3 hours of my shift they were super comfortable. Then I started to notice that my knees were getting sore. Sure enough, after one 8 hour shift, the cushion inside compressed and didn't come back up. Now I've got brand new kneepads with compressed foam. I'll end up turning these into gardening kneepads, since this particular pair I got is not going to work on hard floors. The construction was top notch, but they need to use a more durable foam core. Finding good kneepads is getting harder and harder. Some pairs last almost a year while others struggle to last a few weeks. I'll keep looking. 2
