    It needs to be close to the screen to workThis will work for small room, but the projector is blurry in large or medium sized spaces. I would have bought one with a higher resolution if I had a time travel machine.2Bright, Quiet and Easy to UsePros: Nice picture: bright and rich colours (not washed out). Movies look great and sharp (with progressive scan on). Slides and pictures are stunning.USB connection is so easy to use (after a one time setup, where you need to wait a while for the projector to load software onto your PC, mine runs on Vista) and great for picture viewing and powerpoint shows(USB connection does not have sufficient bandwidth for video so video tend to be choppy).Instant off is a great feature anthough I still let it cool before putting it into the bag. Lamp takes less than a minute to get to full brightness. Lamp life is expected to be 4000 hrs since I rarely ever use it in full brightness. Lamp costs about [...]] bucks currently and its amongst the cheapest in its category.Cons: Contrast is not good. So if you view a widescreen movie the 'black' bands above and below isn't dark enough. If you intend to view a lot of wide screen movies get one with a native 16:9 resolution (which will undoubtly irritate you when you use it in letter mode for your slide presentations). Key stone is rendered by software so you also get those not so dark bands at the sides.Comes with a soft bag which has one huge pocket for the cables, remote and manuals. Since the pocket has no zipper or compartments, everything tends to spill out easily once the man flap is opened and the projector is removed. Pretty shabby thinking there Epson.All in all, happy with the projector. Primarily used for powerpoint presentations but also great for those movie nights.YP5Good thing in a light packageI travel...a bit too much. I need a light projector that will travel with me, and make my colorful presentations look good. This unit does the job.5Good Projector - Really Good ValueThis projector offers very good performance, super easy set-up and an easy to carry package. There are all the inputs you could want, except for HD video displays. The USB port display is suitable only for still pictures; using it for video will induce your audience to either flee or give up watching. Use the VGA or S-video inputs for video.There is no S-video cable provided, a minor challenge.It was up and operating 30 seconds after the box was unpacked.The cloth carry bag is handy, but I would prefer just a bit more padding.5Great Projector So FarSo far everything is working great. All the features and quick start guide helped me to be up and running with my projector very quickly. I truly enjoy its capabilities, ease of use and storage, and quiet running fan. The internal speaker is okay, but plug in some external speakers and you will enjoy greater sound.5
