    My kids love to use this for us in the yardMy kids love to use this for us in the yard, we use more as a toy than magnetic sweeper. My husband is a roofer and has used it on many jobs. I originally bought it for him to use at work, but the product was not up to his standards, in that it would miss nails from time to time. Also many times nails would come off. It is not the quality of some other name brand magnetic sweepers, but did the job around our personal yard. The handle expands so its easy to store away when we are not using it. After having it a while now, we just lost the right wheel, but we use it anyways.3Strong MagnetGave as a Christmas gift to my husband and he was very pleased. The item is much lighter and smaller than it appears. But this is not a criticism. It makes it easier to use. Very convenient to pick up small metal objects from the floor of your shop or nails in your driveway.5Works well, decently strong magnet.Works well and is much stronger of a magnet then it lets on. It doesn't feel like you want or think a really strong magnet should (heavy). It is rather light. But it does work very well and I have picked up a lot of rusting metals with it. They are doing a remodel next to me and the workers are very careless. This thing has picked up everything from new nails to very old rusty ones. I hang it in the garage by the broom and its easy to grab it when I need it. They wheels feel flimsy, but roll easy and I have not had anything break on it yet. Good for the money but I am not sure I would use it if I had a business and put it in service everyday. I'd used it to sweep over the backyard grass to find loose nails scattered by two guys whobuilt my families back porch. The old porch wood was laying in the grass that I knew it is certain, that nails are loose laying in our grass. That's when I knew I needed to buy a magnetic sweeper because our grass was growing too high that it was time to mow the lawn. I wasn't going to cut the grass knowing nails was still laying in the grass, purchasing this item was a good investment. When I received the magnetic sweeper I'd unboxed it and took it outside to the backyard to see does it really work? So as I comb through the grass, I heard a click, click, click and click! And when I turned over the sweeper there were four rusted nails attached. I am glad I'd purchased this item, now I can cut my lawn without hurting myself from dangerous projectiles by using your lawn mower.4Good but flawed. The magnet and wheels portion of this works awesomely! However, there's a major flaw with the connection of the handle to the magnet part. It has a push button, spring loaded mechanism for adjusting the angle. The mechanism just falls apart! I put it back together several times and finally ended up just duct taping it into the position I wanted. 2Great MagnetWhile at first glance it would appear this is made cheaply, it somewhat is. However, I'm having a new roof put on and for the past week I've been dragging it around my grass and sidewalks and it is picking nails up that I can't even see through the grass. The magnet is pretty powerful. Somewhat small so it fills up quick, but does the job well. Great price and great product.5Poor quality all the way around.The first one I ordered arrived with a broken wheel due to it being jammed in a box that was too short for it. I returned for a replacement and it arrived today in the same too-short box, but nothing appeared broken. The wheels are flimsy plastic and their axles are just wedged in to the plastic mount. One wouldn't turn and the other was wobbly. I pried the tight axel back to loosen the wheel and tapped the loose axel with a small hammer to tighten it and now both wheels turn reasonably well. There is a push button to set the angle of the handle to the magnetic bar and when I ran the sweeper over my carpet to test the movement, the push button and spring popped out. I have no idea what was supposed to keep the parts in - didn't find any loose pieces on the floor. I'm not going to the trouble of sending it back, but I sure would not recommend this item to anyone.2Works Great!!This is amazing! I had burned a pile of wood and needed to make sure there were no nails left in the pile. Had to rake and go over it several times. But this worked like a charm.5Empire magnet + beer + 15 mins = .....For the price, I don't think this can be beat! I picked up a handful of nails in grass, with a beer in one hand, with ease! A solid "clack" was heard and felt as each nail was picked up... Take your time and you will be rewarded with a lot of metal!I used this to pick up nails around ashes project that had a mixture of roofing nails, 8d and 10d whole and cut nails. This handled all and even picked up metal shavings that were dropped in grass while we were cutting off old nails!Highly recommended.5Worked for meI read the negative reviews first, then the positive reviews, and so I hesitated to purchase this item, but I'm quite happy with it. It's lightweight and works well on flat surfaces (for thick grass and bumpier services, I purchased the TEKTON 7617 50-lb. Telescoping Magnetic Pick-Up Tool, which I use only when I have to because, although it works well, it's heavier). I wish I'd purchased this years ago, because, based on the quantity of metal it's finding, I'm lucky I didn't have even more flat tires in the past. So, yes, I recommend it.4
