    I would highly recommend an MR-16 fixture instead of the halogen pin bulbs This is the most cheaply designed fixture one could imagine. I would highly recommend an MR-16 fixture instead of the halogen pin bulbs, and, I would highly recommend not buying a cheap Elco fixture, because in the long run it will cost you more than buying a decent fixture from a reputable manufacturer just once.. The attachment plate broke the first time that I attempted to change the bulb. Our electrician installed a mish mash of his left over fixtures, and I can see why he dumped this one on us. In separating, ever so carefully, the bulb from its two pin female socket, the protection plate separated from the electrical fixture and the two flimsy pins holding the protection place to the fixture dislodged and were no longer usable. At best, a ridiculously flimsy design. No more Elco fixtures in my home. Sell your garbage in China Elco - no place for it here in America. Shame on you. 1
