    OK, but a little small. Its a little small, and the hooks don't quite reach the holes in the sides of the housing. So I made little loops in the housing out of cable ties, and it works more or less. We'll have to see if I can get it off in the future and put it back on. 3Awesome Trim! Was having a hard time finding a trim to replace an old light fixture for the front of the house "Night Light", original trim is from about the '60s was amazed this was a perfect fit and even slightly bigger outer flange which I wanted to cover the old decrepit look on the old one. I would definitely recommend, it gives off plenty of brightness with a nice heavy-duty glass to boot. Great product and value for the money. 4Looks nice Improved brightness from the clarity and overall look, but the springs are a little weak and need to be bent significantly further by hand to be able draw it up flush with the ceiling. I ended up just reusing the springs from the old cover. 4Perfect fit! Fit perfectly! And looks great. Better than other like-kind with the frosted glass. Real glass. Let's enough light through. Looks like it's supposed to be that way. Fits a 40 year old fixture like it came with it. Totally brightened up the hallway. 5One star off for Amazon shipping. Shipped from Amazon in a bubble mailer. Trim piece is packaged in one piece of cardboard and a plastic bag by the manufacturer. So my fixture arrived with a slightly dented corner and a small loss of paint to one corner. If this still wasn't 1000 times better than the old metal fixture I was replacing I would have returned it. This item really deserved a box.Glass insert was a bit difficult to insert. There are tabs - similar to the back of a picture frame that can be pried up with a screwdriver which allow for the glass to be set in place. But since there are no instructions this isn't evident at first.The foam seemed to be keeping the trim from being flush with the wall but by bending the wire hangers a bit we were able to get a tighter fit. The foam keeps light from bleeding out around the fixture.I would call the fixture a creamy white. Look at the picture of this one next to one of the fixtures with a plastic insert. This one is is a creamy white not a bright white. For me at the bottom of my stairs this is not a problem. 4Nice replacement Fit nicely, but insert was difficult to install in frame. 4
