    Two StarsThey aren't very durable- went through two in the first month2Light bulb for Sears Canister VacuumShopped elsewhere for this bulb before ordering from Amazon. Decided to buy three because that's just about the price of one from others. Bulb can be tricky to replace on the canister vac. Don't try to install the it without reading the vacuum's instruction booklet for replacing the brush drive belt, even if you don't intend to replace the belt. The booklet tells you how to remove the screws on the bottom of the sweep head, then pop the plastic top off the fixture to gain access to the bulb socket. With a little practice, you can disassemble, replace the bulb, and reassemble in under five minutes. Nice bulb, buy several if you plan to keep the vacuum for awhile.5Fits and functions like the original vacuum cleaner "headlight" in case you need to vacuum in the dark. Fit vacuum cleaner perfectly and is as bright as original. No complaints. Will update if light does not last. Otherwise, good so far. Not sure how often I vacuum in the dark, but if I did, this would help me avoid sucking up toys, coins, or pet hamsters. 5Very unreliableThis replacement bulb lasted for 2 weeks and burned out. The original lasted for over 8 years. It's a good thing I purchased two so at least the second one is still currently working.2Burned out in 10 minutes.Vaccum cleaner replacement bulb. Lasted less than 10 minutes. The original bulb lasted over 10 years. Definitely DON'T recommend this bulb.1Wish LED replacement was available.Until we get a new vacuum with LED lights, we will need to continue to replace these incandescent bulbs. These seem to last longer than the ones I purchase at our local vacuum repair shop. So far so good...it still lights up5Works great...For an older Sears canister vacuum.... had to replace the belt on it, so I went an replaced the light also... light has been out for a year or so... wife's say's I'm lazy... lol5Works greatA family member gifted my husband and I a Riccar vacuum cleaner they weren't using. It hadn't been used in awhile so it needed a few small items. A new light bulb was among those items. This lightbulb was the perfect fit and works great. My husband had no problems switching them out.5PRICY!!! For some reason these bulbs last longer than the Big Box stores do.Only problem is the Price has increased 500% in a 6 year period while these bulbs cost less to produce over time!!!! I bought 6 bulbs for less than this price back then and they don't last forever. Actually they lasted 1 year each LOL! 5Beware! Heavy duty bulb needed for vacuum cleaner power head!As several others have noted, this is NOT a good bulb for the Sears Kenmore vacuum cleaner power head, which needs a heavy duty bulb. I wasn't paying close attention when I ordered this, and it is decidedly not heavy duty. It lasted all of 2 seconds!1Works for Kenmore Vacuum CleanersThe bulb on our vacuum had been dead for some time. Rather than track down a Sears and cough up some $5+, we decided to take a chance on this bulb. It fits perfectly and comes out at half the price - even with shipping! For the curious, we are using it for Kenmore replacement bulb 20-5240.--UPDATE--Although the bulb fit, it burned out within a week of use. Might have been a bad bulb or might just not be designed for the vibrations of brush.2Finally found these!!Screw-type are easy to find but usually not the bayonet type. A little pricey, but worth it. Last a long time.5
