Nice vintage looking camera strap The strap that came with my Nikon P610 camera seemed a little narrow, so I decided to replace it. I was leaning towards a neoprene one but was worried about sweating in the summer. Then I saw this on a camera review site and headed over to Amazon. The strap seems well made and has a nice retro look, reminding me of my old cameras straps from the 80s. The material is a nice smooth weave, nicer than you would expect for the price. The camera hangs at a nice level for my 5'10" height. 4Now They Know You're A Hipster This strap is terrific. I love the look and feel it gives my camera. It is also a very comfortable strap. It's length is perfect and it is secure. The only thing I would grip about is that the plastic pinch-rectangle-things are a little on the big side and slide to the bottom of the strap where my camera is (not the things that your straps loop around to lock in). they don't do much with the securing of the strap, they just keep the loose end of the strap from flapping around. Otherwise, it is a phenomenal strap. If you want a cool strap with a fun design go with this one or any of their other designs! Can't beat the price either. 5I'm not sure if this would be recommended for professional photographers I got this for my sister, who has done some photography work. She has had it on her camera for 8+ months and there is not much wear & tear. I'm not sure if this would be recommended for professional photographers, as the strap doesn't seem as if it would hold up for an extensive amount of time under regular usage, but it is a wonderful investment for people who aren't looking to use their cameras on a day-to-day basis. It is so lovely! 4DEFINITELY GOT A SHORT STRAP It claims to be around 130cm and useful as a shoulder strap. What I received was 60cm of designed strap and another 30cm of connector strap...no where near their specifications and way to short to be used wrapped around the shoulder. Even looking at the photo I can tell I was short-changed. It looks good, but not going to be useful as a shoulder strap as advertised. 1I'll give it 5-STAR too based on over all value This is a low-cost camera strap that is attractive and functional. Others have said there is some "stretch" and "neoprene" but not in my copies. Mine have a coarse-woven black nylon underside that does provide some non-slip, but I would never wear them other than around the neck with my two DSLR cameras as they are too expensive to risk dropping. They attach just like the factory straps, but they are much wider in the contact areas, a lot nicer looking, and don't shout out the make of your camera.At maximum extension, my camera now hangs a little above my waste, and I'm pretty tall at 6'1" and have a pretty big waste :) I got two different designs so I'll easily be able to tell my Pentax K5 apart from the K5 IIs. The connection between the thin nylon strap that goes through the traditional strap holders on the camera body and the wider strap is single stitched. However, it is stitched on both sides and also at the top. Nevertheless, I will be checking this periodically to make sure I'm not surprised by a failure.Sometimes simple is best, and after looking at a lot of options, I decided this was the best way to go for me and my use of the cameras, which is often on tripods. It's easy enough to take this strap on an off the neck for tripod use and it doesn't interfere with the viewfinder of LCD.It doesn't come with instructions, but it does have the plastic connectors that you would have with a factory strap and it connects in exactly the same way. One thing I do is to wrap a strip of Gorilla tape around the loose end to make sure the little slip-on plastic piece that holds the trailing edge stays in place. Just an added precaution I've always used, even with the manufacturer's straps.One final thing is that rubber band they give you. I spent half an hour trying to figure out how to use it. I tried folding up the strap and putting the rubber band over it to hold it in the camera case; I tried wrapping the rubber band around the camera body housing; I tried everything I could think of.....And then it hit me: This is supposed to be one of those wrist bracelets to advertise their product!! LOL. WOW. Why did they make it black when their product is so colorful? If anyone has any other ideas, let me know; but that's what I think it's for. I have two straps, so I can wear one on each wrist !!!However, you will find that people come up to you and ask, "What is that you're wearing?", and when you say "a wrist band", they will ask you, "Is it Eggs Now, or Egg Snow?" What I will say is the left wrist is "Egg Snow" and the right wrist is "Eggs Now". If you buy two, there's your strategy! If you buy one, you'll have to figure it out on your own. 5Nice strap but was not as wide as advertised. Received the product in a timely manner. It is a very nice strap however I was deceived by the description which stated that the strap was 5 cm (2 inches) wide when in fact it was only 3.8 cm (1 1/2 inches) wide. I'll keep it and try it out but I am afraid that the narrow strap may not be as comfortable as the wider strap I assumed I was getting.Be wary of any retailer who doesn't take the time to insure their product information is accurate. I'll not order from this retailer in the future. 2Money well spent. I'm in love with this neck strap! I ordered the color "Multi 201". It's exactly as pictured. I bought it for my Nikon N2020 film camera. I'm 5", and therefore need my straps as tight as they can go and this strap was easily adjusted to my desired length. 5My new favorite camera strap! I absolutely love my new camera strap! It looks and feels great! The material is thick and strong, and to my surprise, it doesn't rub the back of my neck! It's a longer strap than what comes with my Nikon camera, but it's adjustable, so it's perfect! The colors also look great. 5Beautiful and Comfortable I don't actually use the strap around my neck a lot, but there are times when I need both hands for other stuff and I do dangle the camera around my neck if there is no safe place to put it. Padding is nice and it's more comfortable than most neck straps. And, in real life, for my taste the thing is gorgeous. Looks nice in the picture, but looks much nicer in real life. 5Surprisingly decent for the low price This seems like a sturdy enough camera strap to me. The material is relatively thick and feels comfortable to wear. The plastic pieces that slide over the excess strap do not stay snugly in place, but I haven't noticed my camera slipping off at all. I tested it with my heaviest camera configuration possible, which is my Nikon D800 with Sigma 35mm ART lens, plus battery grip. Anyone who has a Sigma lens knows they have quite a bit of weight behind them. The strap is a great length for me--not too long to wear around my neck and have it swinging willy nilly all over the place, but not so short I can't wear it cross-body when I want to. I'm pretty pleased. I honestly wasn't expecting much for the price, and was even prepared to hand it down to my kid for her lighter camera if it didn't work out for me. But I like it a lot. 4
