    Factory original replicaI had to purchase this after I misplaced the one that came with my educator collar ET-300. This worked great for my dog charger.5Previous charger brokeMy previous charger broke. After about a year of daily use (plugging it in and out every day), the metal plugs that go into the outlet actually fell out of the cord. I've never had that happen on ANY charger I've ever owned. However I really like the dog trainer, and so I bought this replacement. I plugged it into an extension cord and taped it so it will never be unplugged, and therefore never have this problem. I just plug and unplug the extension cord instead.3Direct replacement for Ecollar unitsOddly enough, I originally purchased Ecollar 300 single unit for training our Belgian Malinois. He's a puppy and Malinois and is very interested in chewing everything and the Ecollar was to help assist in stopping him from chewing on items he's not supposed to. I assume he thought it would be funny to chew the original charging unit so I couldn't charge the Ecollar and remote for further training! Well, luckily enough they sell this item separately and he's back to training with Ecollar! Item is great and reliable while charging as it should.
