Replaced some old tattered 6x9's on our pontoon boat- now we are ROCKING! Sound great- excellent quality & value! 5LOUD AND DISTORTED These are the worst sounding 6x9 speakers I've ever heard. Most 6x9's have better bass response than 6" speakers but these have so much mid-range distortion that it doesn't matter. 1They sound X100 better than the originals These weather resistant speakers are an exact replacement for the non-weather resistant speakers that came on our boat. The screws holes and wire terminals lined up perfectly. They sound X100 better than the originals. I expect longtime, reliable service from these speakers. 5Loud LOUD. Have 2 in the flybridge in wedges. The way the boat is with a hollow space under the wheel makes for great acoustics. Worth it. 5Great speakers! Bought for my pop-up camper, installed them into the outside wall and have been very impressed by the sound they can produce. For the price these are a great option, I dont know that there are any better ones out there for any cheaper. The look with the grill is also nice that its not super flashy or strange 'wheel spoke' like, I like the simplicity of the design.
