    Excellent camera strapOutstanding camera strap. The rubber 'threads' woven throughout the strap helps prevent the strap from slipping down your shoulder. (My biggest annoyance with camera straps is when the strap slides down when slung over one shoulder.) The swivels on each side also keeps the strap from twisting. 5Love this strap. This is my fourth one. Good grip, love the swivel.Prefer a smaller strap for my smaller shoulders. This is flexible, good gripping- no slipping and love the swivel to avoid twisting. Highly recommended. 5If you use a neck strap, buy this.If you're looking for a simple, no frills neck strap to add to your kit, there's no need to look any further. Nearly all my camera bags are Domke, and I especially like the straps due to the rubber sewn in to provide a really grippy service.I saw a six-pack of the 1" straps listed by Adorama on Amaxon for a really great price and ordered them. Instead of six straps, I received one. Upon contacting the vendor, they said it was a listing error by a "third party", and they weren't responsible. Their offer was for me to return the strap for a refund.I then contacted Amazon directly. The customer service rep stated that the vendor IS responsible for the listing, third party listing service notwithstanding.Eventually I was issued credits and was able to keep the strap. So the issue was resolved thanks to Amazon policies, but my experience with Adorama was quite negative and I will not buy from them again. 3Product absolutely Fantastic, but beware incorrect listing 6-pack (741-6NY), vs 1-pack. (741-1NY),Be warned, as of summer 2016, this is still listing this as a 6-pack (741-6NY), but delivering as 1-pack. (741-1NY), If you look at the reviews, others have had this happen to them as well.Product: The strap itself is FANTASTIC. By far the most functional, well built, and satisfying strap I have used - and I've used many. I have the highest praise for this product.Pros:- Grippy as advertised, and stays grippy after considerable use.- Great build quality.- Made in US.- Swivel clips are strong and quiet, and edges are well rounded so they are not so likely to scratch the camera.- Swivels can be reversed so that they clip to D-rings on the camera lugs instead of the standard configuration where they clip to the mid-section of the straps. This is my favorite feature, I can rapidly remove the entire strap when camera is mounted on tripod, etc, and rapidly reattach as needed.Cons:- None, And I'm pretty picky. No issues with durability/reliability with a heavy camera setup. For ergonomic reasons, you might want the 1.5" version if you have a heavy camera, but that's more a matter of personal taste and application. 5the only strap I useI love these; they're so tough the tend to outlast the camera I hang on them. I've had about four of them spread over about a dozen cameras over the years. Grippy, compact, and really tough. 5Great strap, strange availabilityHaving used a Domke F-2 bag extensively over the past few months, when I was looking for a replacement for my years-old Tamrac camera strap that was severely fraying where it attached to my camera I was happy to find that Domke makes them. The material and construction quality of Domke products is top-notch.I really liked the Tamrac strap because it had quick-release buckles. I don't always like having the strap attached to my camera. So again, I was glad to see that Domke offers this as well. However, it also has straps without that function, which seem to be more widely available (at least in other color choices.)One complaint with this strap is that I couldn't get a black one. The only way you can buy the black one is in a box of six! What good does that do me? I don't have six cameras, and these are so durable I don't expect to need backups lying around. I did find these in a local store (Samy's Cameras in Santa Ana, CA) but they too only had the navy color (and were overpriced.)I mean, I do like the blue color. It is nice. I am glad I chose it. It would have been nice to have the other two color options, though, and I may have chosen a different one if they were easily available.Yes, there is a 1.5 inch version easily available in black, but I wanted the 1-inch.This is a great strap partially because it's small. Some of the straps out there are ridiculously big and bulky. Despite being small and thin, this is very comfortable, and the rubber strips sewn in really do hold it on your shoulder well. If you have a Domke bag already and like the strap, you will feel very comfortable with this, it is exactly the same (though thinner than the typical wide straps on the bags.)A nit-pick - the attachment strap is really too long. I have it adjusted so it is really short, which leaves a big part of it hanging out. Also, this causes the quick-release attachment to be very far out from the camera, something like 6-8 inches. Besides being slightly unwieldy, I am concerned that the tough metal attachment could swing around and hit something expensive I'd rather it didn't.Anyway - this is a great strap, highly recommended. I looked through dozens of options in local stores and this is the only one I would consider actually using (the Tamrac one I had is discontinued and they don't make a similar current model.) Of course, with matters such as these it is a highly personal choice, and everyone will have their own preferences.The purpose, then, of a review like this is to inform you if you are already considering this strap. If you like Domke bags and are considering this strap, no need to hesitate any more, it is great. If you are just looking for something simple and durable that looks cool too, then don't even bother looking at other straps that are available, this is the one you want. 5Not as picturedDomke makes great straps, but the navy colored strap I received is not as pictured. The one I received had black leather ends, the one pictured shows brown leather. 3Great Strap!I bought one of these about 5-6 months ago for my Nikon D40. There was also the 1.5inch strap, but that seemed a bit big for the little D40.All in all i couldnt be happier. it is comfortable, the quick releases work well and have never released on thier own by accident.it looks much nicer than that god awful "NIKON NIKON NIKON LOOK AT ME I HAVE NIKON!!!" yellow and black strap.i give it a 5 out of 5.UPDATE Sept 2009.Just got a D90, ordered another one of these straps for it. Still 5/5! 5
