    Defected blade case. The blades are ok as long as you go easy on them.The case on the other hand is missing the black slide that holds it closed from one side of it.This is for those who like to buy this product because of the case like I dit.I use a rubber band to hold it closed and that makes a new tool looking really stupid.One star for the case the rest for the blades. 5Nice blade selection The blades perform as expected and changed easily when used in my Dewalt jigsaw. These are on par with all other premium brands, and much better than cheaper options. Flex was a bit more than expected in even shallow corners, but adjusting the saw and slowing my cut corrected this; not the blade's fault.The case is great for keeping the blades organized, though it could have used a few more slots for additional types of blades. I had to double up a few dissimilar types of blades in the same slot so I could tell them apart. But, I paid for the blades, not the case, so it is a nice bonus. 5Excellent Jigsaw blade assortment If you are primarily planning on using your jigsaw to cut wood, this is a great assortment in a great case. The case has two sides with covers that lock. Each side had three compartments. I've had good results cutting pine boards and plywood with the fast, clean blades. I haven't used any of the blades for cutting metal. I've used the wood blades in my corded and cordless DeWalt jigsaws in different sawing modes with clean results. It's a great buy for the case alone. I have just had this a few weeks so I have no idea how the case will hold up. 5Perfect Dewalt Blade Set!!!! I honestly bought these dewalt blades because they came with the blade box.I'm not gonna lie, i'm a huge Bosch Blade Man for the jig saw... but Dewalt makes a great blade as-well....But for the few times i use the jig in woodworking and contracting - this bit box keeps all my blades organized perfectly and i cannot complain about the dewalt blades - they're great for wood. I haven't had good experience using them with metal, i think the bosch blades are better all around, but dewalt makes a good product considering these blades.The box was worth the $20 because now i'm no loosing blades and also got a great assortment !!!! 5they cut fine.. Metal bits bent quickly.....be cautious when using...they cut fine...just do it slowly..... 3They cut stuff, like butter. This is a great set of blades that I purchased for a DeWalt jig saw that said it had a starter blade in the box, but didn't. There are a few different types, great for all kinds of cutting needs. They are super easy to swap out, and seem like they will last for a long time. They only gripe I can think of is the little case that comes with it has 2 sides and you just dump them in - seems like some slots would have been nice to keep them organized and stable when opening, but beyond that a nice product. Hope that helps. 5The cuts were perfect without any damage to the edges I bought this blade kit to cut 1/2 inch marine plywood. They handled the material and sharp turns with ease. The cuts were perfect without any damage to the edges. Great blades 5Blades cut stuff A good selection of blades for a good price. I've used the coarse cutting wood blades and the metal blade. If you're using the metal-cutting blade don't do what I did and try to pull the blade out right after you finished cutting. The blade gets hot enough to burn your skin (my fault, not the blade). 5Good Case with some Tweaking I purchased this blade assortment & case based on other positive reviews of the case, as I was needing a good case. The build of the case seems to be good enough. The lids have a steel hinge pin instead of plastic, a pleasant surprise. The lids are held closed by slide latches that slide TOO easily, IMHO. As in, there is no positive click or snap at the closed end of travel and it seems they could easily get brushed or bumped into the open position. I ended up taking a soldering iron and used it to "push" some plastic on the lid down so that it provided some resistance for the latch to brush against when it is slid to the open position (see photo). It didn't take long to modify the latches to where I feel I can trust them to stay closed.Case dimensions: 2 1/8" wide x 1 1/4" thick x 6 1/4" long, and each "slot" or compartment is about 5 1/8" long x 1/2" wide x 3/8"+ deep.Case construction: Yellow part is ABS, Slide latches are polypropylene and I'm not sure what type of plastic the lids are made of.Pros: well built case & metal hinge pinsCons: sloppy slide latches, I expected better from DeWalt. 4Decent selection and GREAT case I had no bit organizer case so this was very nifty. The case with divider slots is strong and has latching doors on both sides to keep bits sorted. A good case prevents bit wear by bouncing against each other. I have no reason to expect this brand of bits will not last well under use. Beats the heck out of big box store prices. 5
