    Difficult to use!Uh no, this doesn't work well for golf. It's difficult to get at the little side number dial and easy to accidentally move it more than one space (who wants a higher golf score?!) Conversely, I've often accidentally hit the center bar, returning the score to zero and then have to try to remember what it had been! It's also difficult to find a secure, but still accessible spot to attach it. So, after using twice, I relegated it to my knitting bag and it's great for keeping count of rows! 2Quick and easy.I purchased one of these for my wife. The next think I know all the ladies in her golf group want one. Price is right, easy to use and they glue them to their golf glove so they don't lose them. 5"flying" golf ball counterI have bought 3 of these and each time it was gone from my glove hence I purchased another one. After 3rd one lost I feel that this item is definitely a waste of money, however, I have to say it worked very well until it was lost.I do not recommend that you buy this item. 1Marker?This is the size of a couple mm's larger than a quarter! If it were flatter, you could use it as a darned marker! Supposed to fit, I guess, on your hat or maybe shoes. Plastic, not well made, and sooooooo simple. I have decided to just play better golf and not need it!!! 2I have the beads and don't like them. Years ago there was a clicker type ...My fault maybe. I thought this was something I could take in and out of my pocket after each shot but it is too sensitive to do that. It can change numbers by just being in your pocket. I have a friend who uses one and she keeps it tucked into the velcro of her glove. I don't think she has a problem with it but I take my glove off to putt. I have the beads and don't like them. Years ago there was a clicker type one where you really had to push down on the clicker to add a number. Can't seem to find one of these anywhere. 2keep your scoreI needed help keeping track of my score, well on difficult golf holes. Golf ball in the water 2 clicks. one for the shot, 1 for penalty. out of bounds 3 clicks. easy to reset for next hole. 8 strokes is the max for our group. no sense in depressing ourselves.. 5breaks easilyI've purchased several of these and, while I like the simplicity of use, they break easily. If something brushes against the counter, or if I take a long sleeved top off without first removing the counter from the back of my glove, that small pressure will break the counter, no matter how careful I am. But the price is right so I keep replacing them! 3Great itemThis really surprises me, very easy to work with fits right on the bill if hat and does a great job. I bought as a gag gift for somebody, I ended up keeping it and using it. 5Still like them but this one seems more cheaply made.I have had several of these. They are lost quite often by falling off my left glove. This one doesn't always hold the number and will fail back to zero on it's own. Maybe a cheaper spring in it!?! I still continue to buy them since they are the best device I have found to easily keep count. 4Free up those brain cells for socializing instead of counting!I'm fairly new into golf and--having a terrible short-term memory--I was spending waaaaay too much time trying to remember how many strokes I had taken. This little device has made golfing so much more relaxing for me, and my score-keeping more accurate! It's small, simple, and functional. It stays put clipped into the velcro holding my glove shut, and doesn't impede me in any way. I love it, and have given them to friends who also love them. Sometimes it's the little things in life... 5
