    Great PC speaker choice Quality computer speakers for the price paid. Give them a couple hours to break in, and they really sing. I got these as an upgrade for my daughter's computer, and we're happy. For my taste, I prefer a clearer sound, with more detail in the mid to high frequencies, and these will deliver - all you have to do is crank the "tone" knob to the right, to about the 3 o'clock position or so. Once I did that, good to go for my sound preference. They also deliver a very good bass punch too. These speakers are solid and have some weight to them, and seem well built. I hope, and expect, them to last a long time. Time will tell. 5Surprised by the sound as soon as turned on. So thanks to my (daughters) cat, I ended up having to purchase yet another set of speakers after the cat completely chewed a speaker wire in two for my Insignia 2.1 Bluetooth speakers. Although I liked the sound of the Insignia's, I was not at all happy with how the wires for the two satellite speakers were set up. One male plug goes into the back of the sub with two thin wires coming out of the plug to each speaker. The wires are cheap and are the same length, thus I was not able to place the speakers where I wanted due to being too short. But otherwise they had good sound.Because the cat decided he didn't like the wires either, I had to get a new set of speakers as the Insignia's could not replace just the two satellite speakers or the wires because it was all wired together. Getting the "replacement" would require getting the sub and all for a price of $60. So I found these Creative T-15's with Bluetooth here for $45.00 shipped to my door. The reviews were mostly all really good, so in went the order. Not only did the order ship the very next day (yes, I got them in under 24 hours!), but it was nice to open my door and move the box inside without having to carry it from store to car to home. It took me an entire 15 minutes to un-pack the speakers and hook them up. Let's just say this in one word about the sound: WOW! I read in one of the other reviews that they had all different kinds of speakers and they thought these sounded just as good or better than many others for a lot more money. I agree 100% and I've had some really great brand name speakers that I will not mention as I did like them too, but they were way more money.The cat will not have the chance to eat these wires because I've taken steps to keep him from doing it again. As a side note, if you plan to use these with a TV using the 3.5 male plug, it doesn't come with the speakers. I knew that before getting them and had just picked a cord up from the local store. 5It can deliver the Bass For sound settings testing I am using YouTube's videos, Mozilla Firefox and the Graphic Equalizer add-on for Mozilla Firefox. First off this is not a three piece Sub-woofer system like what I have lived with for over a decade and will grieve the loss of for a long time to come, yet, there is a lot to work with here with these Creative speakers. More than I expected and close to what I have known all these years. However there are some tricks I learned right away that I will share. I have a three 32 inch monitor setup here so I have found an ideal placement for both sound and they are tucked out of the way by laying them on their sides and wedging them under the monitors. I followed a previous reviewers advice and used Heart's "Magic Man" to get in the zone. For bass and treble contrast I used "Whip It" By Devo. Nice contrast of Cymbal and Bass at the start of the song but not the best fidelity IMO, also ( I hate his politics but ) Ted Nugent - "Stranglehold" and to completely review I am listening to whole "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd. Alas Dark Side of the Moon reminds me that I now lack a sub-woofer however so it must also be nicer for the neighbors lol :) Again this is not a three piece system. I considered the neighbors this time around. Okay unboxing is straight forward. Nice packaging.Pros: All packaged well, bubble wrapped and so on. Nice.Cons: length of wire to connect speakers seems a bit short at first then I realized that the distance of placement between these speakers on my desk for listening is perfect without adding more wire. If you want it longer so they can be farther apart its a common RCA connectors and that can be bought online easy enough or like me, even found in my electronics junk box if I wanted to add more wire. Okay like most guys I did not read the manual first and it was set up easy enough. I did read the manual to be sure how to PAIR the unit. That went well although it took a few seconds longer than I expected for a sync. SOUND: Okay I set them on their ends at first and was NOT impressed right away. As I wrote I am using Firefox, Equalizer and turning the speaker knobs at this time but the bass was disappointing right away. Was this the end? Was this the big let down? I figured out how to maximize and it is all good now. Sure I wondered when I ordered how can these desk speakers deliver a Bass punch?! Well I have folding tables in a L-configuration as my desk so I am able to use the tables as a bass conductor/transmitter and that achieves a bit of the sub-woofer feel. Oh yes I can feel the bass and drums in the table. I have turned the speakers on their sides, slid them under the right and left monitors and wedged in a CD case and cardboard to hold the speakers down solid to the table and there we go! Nice bass and great highs. ( I have hearing loss ) So it is especially nice to get crisp highs. Conclusion : Excellent selection it turned out to be for me since I could not "test listen" before buying. These speakers can deliver decent bass ( considering they are desktop speakers ) so you can try "tricks" to maximize that. Perhaps placing the speakers on their sides on top of a hollow box like space is one way.The highs are excellent so I will be able to listen to voice conversations easy enough. Over all They are a good choice in desktop speakers when we can't listen first.Stereo separation is clear. No noticeable distortion.Thumbs up for desktop speakers under $50.00 5I give these Creative Inspire speakers a 3 because......Updated 12/20/18 The sound quality that came out of these speakers, wowed me right from the beginning!!The sound is crisp and clear, and I especially like the fact, that you can adjust the bass and treble from the front of the speaker dial.The speaker sound really great at low to medium volume, the only complaint, is that there is too much bass, at the lower volume setting.But when you crank them up, the sound really shines through, and the sound remained crisp and clear with no sign of buzzing or anything!The bass and treble were still on pitch, and the bass coming out of these little speakers was soo great, that the computer desk was vibrating from the sound!Awesome, Awesome, speakers from Creative Inspire!Updated: <<<<<<<12/20/18>>>>>Yes, I gave these speakers a raving review, back when I first listened to them.But after a few days, I realized that the sound was not a bold and vivid, as on the first listening.This was for two reasons... 1) The speakers I was originally using to, were $20.00 speakers that were only intended for short term listening, due to us moving. (My 7.1 Theater speakers were never plugged back in.)2) I grew accustomed to the crappy speakers.So, after I realized that these speakers were only on now, I decided to step up in quality and price. I moved up to the Creative GIGAWORKS T40 SERIES II speakers.Now, these speakers made the T10 speakers, sound like my cheapy $20.00 speakers.I have been using these T40 speakers for over a week now, and am super happy with the consistency of the sound quality.Both speakers are great speakers, but if you are into music, movies, and games, then you will appreciate the T40's better. 3Impressive sound quality for a pair of inexpensive speakers. Just received these moments ago. These are not "audiophile" speakers - having said that, put on Heart's "Magic Man" with the tone at 3 o'clock and the volume at 2/3rds... and tell me you're not impressed by the depth of sound from a pair of $50 speakers with no separate subwoofer. That's some pretty nice sound. I found the controls easy to access and use. This is exactly what I was aiming for in this price point range and am 100% satisfied. 5Nice crisp sound. First the value for the money is fantastic. Second the sound clarity is very good. Nice crisp highs and good sound clarity. They do have some issues that have to be addressed. As another reviewer mentions I did have to crank the output to the headphone Jack on my laptop to 95% to get the highs to stand out. That done the amplifier will do the job. I have a 12 x 24 foot living room that these speakers will fill well. I did have to turn the treble up to 3/4 to get the highs to come out for my old ears. All in all these are very nice speakers for the money. I did try the logitech Z 200 and they also an excellent speaker for under $25 but they were just a bit muddy especially at lower volume. 5Nonsensical flashing blue LED is a HUGE distraction! These speakers sound fine, but the reason I took two stars off is that when they are connected to a Bluetooth source, a bright blue LED flashes. Constantly. I've had other BT speakers flash, but that was when they were looking for a connection. These speakers, counterintuitively, show a steady LED when not connected via BT and a FLASHING one while connected.If you have these in your bedroom you WILL be distracted by the flashing LED. Note to Creative - flashing is to get someone's attention - for example, my phone flashes an LED when there is a notification. If you buy these speakers, plan on covering that obnoxious LED with a piece of electrical tape. 3The speakers connect fine and have considerable volume but the sound is terrible The speakers connect fine and have considerable volume but the sound is terrible! It's got very strong base, so strong that it distorts the sound to the point that when I use it on my computer to watch a movie, I have to use the closed captions! It is that distorted. These are not only nice looking speakers the sound they produce is wonderful. I purchased primarily to boost the sound from a samsung tv, this tv is in the kitchen. As many users know the speaakers on tv's are so/so. This is for 26inch Samsung,2 years old. When I am in the kitchen doing some paper work I enjoy listening to KCSMFm the jazz station. This is why I bought these speakers. Installation was easy... minutes. I now enjoy not only jazz, but also Hear the tv programs with much more clarity...great speakers..I highly recommend...." 5Don t Listen to the Bad Reviews! These speakers are well made, solid and sound great. If you want great desktop speakers with great sound quality, get these. If you want 50 watts RMS or a bumping thumping sub - you need 50 watts RMS or a bumping thumping sub! These are not 50 watts RMS or a bumping thumping sub. They are as loud as a two and a half inch speaker will ever be. These give perfect cinematic two speaker sound and comfortably fill a good size den with sound. These speakers sound like top quality studio monitors, except they produce colored sound. If you use these at the low to moderately high volumes they are intended for, you will get great sound with no ear fatigue. Yes, the brand new top of the line HP computer the kids got for Christmas came factory installed with a Bluetooth driver and Realtek Audio driver that wouldn t work together no matter what I did. The sound and video would not sync and all video looked like an overdubbed Chinese Kung fu movie, where the words you hear weren t in sync with anyone s mouth. So I uninstalled them and did a windows update, which found me the correct Bluetooth driver. However, after that these sounded like $5.00 generic 2.5 computer speakers. Then, I went to the HP driver download page and downloaded the latest Realtek driver for this PC and BOOM! Problem solved. Sounds perfect. And no issues. Don t listen to the bad reviews. If you are setting up a Windows PC, with wireless anything you should be expecting these problems. These are perfect for a new PC for kids games like Roblox, Minecraft, Amazing Frog and the popular steam games.Bottom line, these are excellent sounding speakers. They sound like the $1,000 Bose mini speakers from the late 1980 s, probably even a bit better.Note about complaints that they do not stay paired with the PC: If you want them to autopair when you turn your PC on, all you have to do is turn them on first, then turn the PC on second. The PC will find them during boot up. Problem Solved! 5
