    Heavy duty indeedCrain makes exceptional tools , this hammer tacker is for professional use , meant to drive thousands of staples on a daily basis , as such is built to last and can be on the heavy side for an occasional user ; for those small jobs is better to get an inexpensive tacker that will serve you just fineFor heavy duty I prefer this one over the Duo Fast , it's heavy head drives the staples with ease and after a bit of practice it can be reloaded quickly , there is a small learning curve for sure .It's best feature is how simple is to clear a jam ( and it will jam just like any other stapler , particularly when using the cheaper generic staples we all love to get to save a few bucks ) , remove the slide , pull out a single pin at the rear and pull apart the tool to clear the offending staple , slap it back together and you are back in business , but there is a faster way to clear a jam :On this model when you strike the staple a feeding plate moves upwards and sticks a bit on top of the head , when a jam occurs this plate stays stuck in the upwards position , simply flip the tacker upside down and hit it on the floor forcing the plate down and the bent staple is spit out immediately , flip it again and keep on going , I am positive clearing the tool this way is abuse and will damage it but it is built like a tank and I have them last for a couple years .And I use them every day 5GarbageNothing 1
