Customer Reviews

Works great!Works well. The pocket is big enough for my phone, notebook, papers, & a small medkit. I work as a campground ranger & it holds up well in the sun, sweat, & rain so far. I always have trouble fitting around my shoulders but this one fits great. The only complaints I have are the straps by your neck may rub on you & I wish that the radio was held at an angle because I keep poking myself in the face with the antenna. 4Perfect for roadies and stagehandsThis product is perfect for what I use it for. I am a concert technician and the Walkie-Talkies we use are Motorola Model# AAH25RDC9AA3AN. This radio fits perfectly with no room to spare inside the Conterra's radio pocket. If this radio was any bigger at all it would not fit. I love that the Conterra has a little loop around the shoulder sling that holds the antenna of the radio and keeps it out of my way. The large pocket of this radio is in my opinion the perfect size. My Iphone fits right in there as if they designed it to hold an Iphone. I can fit my phone, my flashlight (SureFire P2X Fury Tactical), and 2 rolls of electrical tape in this pocket. My only complaint is that the shoulder slings rub up against my neck and after a long day this can get rather painful. But if you wear a collared shirt, this isnt a problem. I definitely recommend this for all my fellow roadies and stagehands out there. 5I stitched another row of loop velcro onto it and it was slightly better. I first tried this harness over a ski ...This harness is just ok. It is almost impossible to put the radio back in with one hand or even with two hands wearing ski gloves. (I did the mod for smaller radios as suggested in the documentation.) Also, the velcro on the other pouch is really cheap and does not stick real well. I stitched another row of loop velcro onto it and it was slightly better. I first tried this harness over a ski coat but it was too restrictive. I ended up using it in the middle of my 4 layers and I liked it more there. 3Great product, comfortable, and useful!I work on the railroad as a freight conductor, and this is the perfect harness if your on the ground switching cars, or on the road. Easy to take off and put back on. I m 6 1 255 athletic frame and it fits but any bigger than me and it would be tight. Radio fits well, room for paperwork, pens, or notepad. Only time it can be annoying is when wearing a vest, because it bunches the vest up, but not a big deal. 5Especially useful for keeping your electronics warm and protected inside your ...I use this harness to hold my radio, cell phone, GPS, pen, and notepad during search and rescue missions in the Sierra Nevada. Especially useful for keeping your electronics warm and protected inside your jacket during the wind and cold and snow, but also easily within reach. The radio pouch is very well designed, with room for a mic attachment and an elastic band for holding the antennae. Easy access velcro pouch for other items is handy as well. Has made SAR work much easier. 5Fully adjustable for all sizes of radios and people! One of my co-workers recommended this vest, and although I didn't really analyze his, I noticed that it at least fit the radio he was carrying. We have an assortment of different radios where I work, and not all of them are the same size. I usually wind up with one of the "bricks" and was a little concerned that it might not fit in the holster. That was the first thing I checked when the vest arrived, and I was pleased to see that it is adjustable for quite a range of sizes and would probably even hold my GPSr. Plus, the adjustable straps even fit my small (tiny!) frame comfortably. I am delighted with the product. 5Great quality!Fantastic for paragliding!Fits UV-5R as radio pocket is adjustable in depth and girth. 5I love this harnessI love this harness, it works great. I wish I would have purchased the larger one because I ran out of room fast with this thing. I work as a special event medic that is constantly away from my trauma bag. I found it annoying to have everything in one pouch. Also unless I m wearing an ear piece I found the front facing design of the radio to be a major flaw. For example when I m responding to front stage or even behind stage. It was extremely difficult to hear radio traffic. I ended up rotating the radio inward so the speaker wasn t facing away from me.It can also be used as a concealed carry holster, it holds my XDS 3.3in with that standard mag 5Worth the price; should prove very suitable for my volunteer comms duty.I'm using this radio chest harness with my Baofeng UV-5R handheld transceiver and find that the radio fits reasonably well in its holster. With the extended battery attached, I find it works best for plugging in a hand speaker/mic. The harness feels small both in dimensions and restrictiveness, but is snug and suitable for the task, so that's not really complaint per se. If you compare this harness to a soldier's LBE, you'll be disappointed, but it does have a rugged quality with its wider-than-typical shoulder straps. The cargo pouch is a serious Velcro 'stickem' to it; you really have to rip it open ... so hoping that'll prove to be a good thing when running or climbing. 4It does what it is supposed to doI use this (so far) as a holder for my cell phone when I go to the mountains. Instead of driving with a bulky item on my belt (cell phone holster) I just drop my cell phone in the sleeve on the chest harness. I will use this when hunting to carry the cell phone and the radio. Previously, when using radios in the woods...you were always sticking the radio in one pocket or another or in the backpack. Never at the ready. This will change that. Plus you can slide some water purifying tablets and a small platypus in the sleeve. It is NOT a roomy sleeve by design. If you want more room on your chest get the Conterra tool chest (which will be bulkier...also by design) But this size item fits my need perfectly. Construction is solid. Just thick enough in the straps and body to make it sturdy. But it is easy to adjust and make very comfortable. 5
