    Works like nothing else I have foundWe moved into a new house and all three toilet seats would consistently become loose which was very iritating. I tried several options to fix the problem, and none of them worked. Until I found this. Initially, I purchased one and tried it. After having it work, I purchased two more. The product is like training wheels for your toilet seat. It can't slip to the side if installed properly.I saw several low ratings because the screw was too long and stuck through the seat. Yes, if the screw is too long for the seat thickness it obviously will. But, I think the larger issue is that you probably shouldn't be using power tools for fear of hurting yourself if you didn't measure the seat thickness compared to the screw length!So, probably won't work on a plastic seat since the ones I have seen are thin. The seat does need to be thick, i.e., wood.5Wish I knew about these soonerLove these. I did not, however, fasten them with the included screws since I rent. I used heavy duty command strips and they work perfectly.5Works exactly as advertised - no more wobbly seat!The wobbly seat that was sliding sideways is now perfectly still. This is a truly awesome product! I am pretty sure that any negative feedback this item received was from people who did not install it properly. I highly recommend!5Best product everI am sooooo happy I purchased this. As a renter I was tired of constantly slipping on the toilet seat. After purchasing a new seat I realized the actual seat was not the problem. This creative invention solved my problem! No more slip and sliding! Easy install. I am also a special education teacher and if you have a child who like to slam the toilet seat or play w it. This will prevent that!5Simple, Effective, Indispensable.We were replacing toilet seats every year or so, because they would break near the hinges from people moving around on the seat. I don't remember how I stumbled on these a few years ago, but they've been a godsend. What a simple, great invention! No more loose, distracting seating. No more broken hinges. As such, I think it's safe and accurate to say these not only benefit your pocketbook, but also your health. When we are sitting on the toilet, we need to be able to concentrate on the task at hand and not be distracted by loose toilet seats.For what they are, these are pretty expensive at five dollars a set. But for the idea itself, and how easy it is to install, and how well it does the job, the dollar trade-off is worth it. Also, taking into consideration the money saved by not having to replace broken toilet seats anymore, one comes to the realization that there are some things in life you just can't put a dollar value on.5These have worked where others did not.The other stabilizing systems I tried were focused on the attachment screws. These are mounted near the front of the seat. I have had no slippage since installing them. One thing to be aware of is that these screw in. You need to have a seat that can accommodate this. Many plastic toilet seats may not. Padded toilet seats are anybodies guess.5Pleasantly surprisedI was really skeptical about these bumpers. Toilet seats are usually pretty flimsy and I didn't expect them to stay on. I didn't use the rubber bands to mount them...not really necessary. I am happy to report that after a few months, they are still attached and my seat isn't sliding around.5Stops Those "Oh $#!%" Moments!I don't normally discuss bathroom issues, but it is very unnerving to slide sideways while taking care of business. This is a very handy invention for modern society. After going through several toilet seats, and getting tired of slipping and sliding off my perch, I knew that there had to be a better way. Why toilet seat manufacturers do not include seat stabilizers, I will never know; but I am sure that in some unrecognizable way, this invention has saved my life.The installation of these Safe-T-Bumpers was a little finicky, however it was not difficult. It is best to start with a clean or new toilet seat, and connect the bumpers to the toilet seat with the included rubber band. Next, set the seat down on the toilet bowl and adjust the bumpers so they sit within the bowl. Finally you can lift the seat, and permanently attach the Safe-T-Bumpers with the included screws, as long as you don't drop a screw in the water! (You can still attach with that screw, but you may get a little wet)After using this product, I have not had to purchase another toilet seat, or tighten the bolts connecting the seat. A recommended purchase for every household.5We are now sitting comfortably and not feeling like the seat is falling out ... We had these on an older toilet seat, bought a new seat and could not get bolts tight enough to keep it from sliding around. Searched hardware stores, Walmart, etc. and could not find them. Did not know what to call them, so was unable to bring them up on Amazon. Thanks to the owner of our local lumber yard, who said they did not stock them, but looked them up and found they were available on Amazon! We are now sitting comfortably and not feeling like the seat is falling out from under us. Great product... 5Very Effective These are a little bit touchy to install properly, but once in place, they are very effective. There is no doubt in my mind that when a toilet seat can move from side to side, it will, and over time that movement will loosen the seat's connection to the toilet. When it loosens, it will allow more movement, and so on, until finally it is so loose that it's unsafe, and you wind up replacing the whole seat. These little bumpers very effectively prevent the seat from sliding from side to side, and thereby prevent undue stress and strain on the connection to the toilet.There could be some better instructions and "templates" provided to place them properly, but otherwise, they are very good. 4Can't say enough good about these! They're amazing!These are the best invention for the bathroom. I hated having the seat slide when I sat down and if you're elderly it could become a safety issue. I asked a plumber who was doing work at my house if there was anything to remedy that and he said no. Well, turns out he is wrong. Shortly after that I saw these online and figured they were worth a try. WOW! Seat no longer shifts when I sit on it! The are super easy to install. I'm over 60 and a female and had no trouble installing at all. Of course, you need to predrill the holes. I've had these for months now and they are fantastic. Can hardly say enough good about them. If you are considering these by all means don't hesitate any longer. You will be so glad you did.5What a bargain. What a great product and is working great with no problems. I was faced with either buying a toilet seat for $69.00 or this marilous little product for a very low price and it took me maybe 10 minutes to read instructions and install myself. This product, in my opinioun should be rated a "10" all the way. 5Fantastic Stabilizers!It s the little things in life that make a person happy. These stabilizers are fantastic and over all easy to install with a drill.I was glad I did some testing of the seat by sitting on it, repeating the movement made that made the seat shift in the first place.Placing both stabilizers on one side instead of either side worked the best for me.5
