    Perfect for clean wiring jobs.I mount a lot of flatscreen T.Vs and these low voltage mounting brackets are perfect for creating a clean look for your wall where you cut the drywall out. There are 4 small holes along the edges of the unit that you use to mark the wall. Next, connect the dots with a ruler and a pencil. Then cut through the drywall along the lines you connected. Pull out the drywall section and insert this unit. Turn the top and bottom locking tabs of the unit up and down respectively and tighten the screws to lock the unit against the drywall. Feed your HDMI wires through the opening and be sure to the faceplate of your choice over this mounting bracket.I like to install the 6 port HDMI unit into this mounting bracket. It allows me to run all the HDMI wires for tv's with more than one HDMI port.5Used these to secure LAN/RJ45 outlet to the drywall... Used these to secure LAN/RJ45 outlet to the drywall. Great quality and build and easy to install and secure the outlet cover plates. Tip: don't over tighten the anchors as the plastic where the screws go in will start to buckle. 5Gives that finished look This plate attaches securely to the wall and allows you to put on your desired cover. The guide lines give you a easy way to mark your cuts and easily attached to drywall. 5Simple and effectiveThis worked great for a small project cleaning up speaker and coax cables fed from elsewhere in the house. Measured and then used an index card template cut to size to enlarge the hole from which the mess of cables sprouted. Fit great and was easy to get in place (drywall). Worked well with a dual gang decora style wall plate.This will sound odd but I really appreciated the bright color. Made it easy to see what was going on with the support pieces inside the wall. Much better than black, which I have used before.5It was going in new construction, but would be easy even in existing construction.Very easy to install. I used this to add an Ethernet port to an outbuilding at the house. It was going in new construction but the setup was very easy. The plate has four little marking holes that you can use for cutting the sheetrock. Position the plate backwards against the wall, poke four little holes with a pencil, and connect the dots. Cut the wallboard and pop the plate into place and tighten the screws! It makes for a great easy-mounting plate for low voltage wires like audio-visual or ethernet, using the right wall plate.5Works Great!I ran some new coax for out cable TV and some ethernet to wire the router nodes' backhaul directly to the main router for our mesh WiFi system. These worked perfectly. Whoever installed the coax previously, did not install any type of box or bracket and just screwed the plates directly into the wall. Since I was replacing the old wall plates with new keystone wall plates, I wanted them more secure than that. These worked perfectly to hold the new cables and wall plates.5Simple, cheap solution for outlets Bought this to use with an HDMI and RJ-45 receptacle. Works great and is a much better solution that screwing the plate into the drywall directly (which is what whoever installed the coaxial cable in my house did). Only thing that would have made this better is a stencil so I could have marked the wall quickly for the hole I needed to cut. However it is installed and I'm using it now. Would maybe find a better quality version next time.3FAST INSTALLATIONThese work great I added 6 different Ethernet drops in my house. A tip I learned is to cut up a small length of paint stir stick or other thin piece of wood to place behind the drywall before installing - makes for a stronger installation.5Great for adding an easy outlet I piggy-backed an outlet just a few feet up on my wall above another outlet in order to do a nicer installation for my wall-mounted tv.This worked great, is easy to install, and holds very well. I would definitely recommend this if a friend were doing the same kind of project 5Item not as describedThe item received was different from the pictured item. I paid more for this one because it had the layout holes in all four corners. The item I received was black, not orange, and only had layout holes in two opposite corners. Not having all four holes made it more of a hassle to Mark and cut the drywall than it should have been.Past that, though, the box functioned as expected once I got the hole cut.3You may get a black one which is inferiorYou may receive an inferior product to the orange one pictured. If they send you a black one, it is flimsier plastic and does not have tiny corner holes to mark the drywall with so you can make the drywall cutout that matches the bracket.3
