I didn't like any of the standard (fuse-based) approaches, and wanted to be able to shut the circuit down when the subwoofer was removed (it's in my SUV, and when I'm hauling things, I need to remove it quickly).This was the perfect solution - it even matched some other rocker switches in my 4Runner, and looks completely custom. Couldn't be happier, and I know I won't fry my battery if I push the amp too hard. This is the way to go.(Note: I suppose I should find a way to test the performance, but I'm assuming it will work as advertised.
