    Not long enough I was quite surprised at how short a cord this is but I compromised by clipping it to my scrunchie (which works as long as I keep long hair). If I couldn't do this, it would have to go back since it just isn't quite long enough to make it to my collar - and forget being able to turn your head. This would be even shorter if I wore a t-shirt or tank top.I think it should be at least another 3-4 inches longer to be truly useful to the "average" sailor. 2Pricey but MANY uses I love these kind of small connectors because there are so many ways to use them. I originally bought it so I could carry a continuous glucose monitor in my pocket and clip it to my belt loop for safe keeping. But it ended up being perfect to wrap around the front of my bike rack and clip both ends to the front of a bike bag. It helps stabilize the front of it very well. Now I have to buy a few more because I can think of alot of other uses. 5Keeps your head on. THIS IS MY EYEWEAR RETAINMENT DEVICE. Buy the ones that are plastic. 1My GoPro saver!!!! I bought this for tethering a baseball cap made for my GoPro 4 to my shirt. It has already saved my GoPro twice.It is very inconspicuous when attached to the back of the hat and to my shirt. It is very well made and just the right length. Buy with confidence. 5A must have tool. cap =clip =happy person If you wear a hat or cap and you like your head gear and it you don't want to loose it from blowing winds.You simply need this.Mine has saved my cap many times.Simple, unobtrusive, easy to connect your head gear is never going to leave you.If you need to not have your cap on for a working moments off it goes over your back so you can return it later to your head.I use mine during my outdoor photography expeditions.I never leave without it... 5Save your Cap! This retainer works where others fail. I like to wear my caps on the water in different boats. When speed or a sudden gust of wind catches even a securely fitting cap, this lanyard has clips strong enough to prevent its loss. Advertised as rustproof but salt water may leave corrosion stains on light materials if your not careful to rinse them.
