    Nice stone Admittedly my first set of stones, so little reference point. I've used them once on approx. 15 knives....worked out great, though still need some practice. This style stone was suggested by my son-in-law whose a professional chef and always keeps really sharp knives on hand. 5Fast cutting Wanted a faster cutting stone than the chosera 800. Not that the 800 is slow. I'm just a bit lazy. Got a burr within 3-4 passes with this stone. Pretty satisfied. 5Great for the price It's a great stone. 5My favorite waterstone. Excellent feedback when using, very controllable, smooth but fast cutting. Can be thirsty, keep a water bottle nearby. 5Great bevel setter! Works wonderfully. I can set a bevel on a straight in 5 minutes. 5A+ Quality stone 5Two different grit surface It has two different surgaces , I thought it is a solid 600grits stone, 3Great stone to start on This stone relplaced my Shapton 320 and Chosera 400 for a starting place before my progression of sharpening . Cuts very fast and leaves a consistant scratch patter for the next stone (1k/2k) .This stone gives of plenty of slurry for those who appreciate that type of sharpening (not so much for me ) , but wears slower than you d imagine ( I understand how backwards that sounds ) .Now for a splash and go stone this stone soaks quite a bit of water , not so much a problem for me but if you needs less of a cleanup this stone might not be for you cause you ll get plenty of blue slurry off this thirsty stone . 5Smart buy! Workhorse. I use this for razor repair. Doesn't load up to quick. Great feedback. Does dish a little, but with extensive use...I expect that! Thick stone. This and the 8oo and 3k naniwa's are smart buys. 5Top of the Whetstone world Naniwa Chosera is the best of the best, point blank period. This is it, it's your moment, had to give you a carrer to destroy it. 5
