Works exactly as promised.Pretty easy to fit on my MK6 Golf GTI air-vents. You will have to try to scratch or otherwise damage the air vent assembly with that, at least with the design of the vents in my car model.Secure fit and super easy removal of the Accessport device.Could see that being used as a cellphone or other type of device holder too.5Perfect AP MountExcellent vent mount, definitely worth the money. The spring loaded clip supceeds the other mounts and their clip design. I use this for a COBB AP3 and it holds in place perfectly.5Nice Little Vent ClipEasy install and keeps my access port visible while driving. It would have been nice if the supporting feet were lined with rubber soles.It seems sturdy enough and a better option than the adhesive and window suction.4Modified it for 2014 WRX fitmentThe product seems well designed and probably fits most cars just fine. However, in my 2014 Subaru WRX, it puts the AP touching the indicator lever. I modified mine to make it work. I took the unit apart and used plastic epoxy to secure the AP mount part to the round cover for the upper support. That pulled it back about 2 inches and now my finger doesn't hit it when I use my blinkers. Honestly, it looks pretty good for being glued together. See my pictures, this should apply for all 2008-2014 WRX and STIs, and probably lots of other applications.I haven't used it during driving yet since I'm in the middle of some projects on the car, but it looks like there will be the tenancy for the mount to rotate down with the weight of the AP leveraging the vents natural motion. I guess I'll have to see about that.EDIT: I'm not sure why my pictures loaded sideways, they are the right way in windows... lol.4it is perfect over the left side drivers venti am using this with an edge insight. it is perfect over the left side drivers vent. the unit gets hot but the a/c blowing on the back keeps it cool and we all know that adds life to the electronics. as well, it is down low so as not to be in sight and a temptation to a "smash & grabber".a good price and great function !!5COBB accessport air vent mount. 2015+WRXBought this for my WRX because I ve gotten tired of redoing the original COBB Accessport mount that sticks on with double sided 3M. This mount will work for your 2015+ WRX/STI. It sits on the air vent much sturdier than that stock one. I did use the original back piece from the Cobb box because the amazon one seemed a tad bit looser. I couldn t be happier with this mount for the price. Highly recommend!5Exactly What I Was WantingThis is exactly what I was looking for! With the double adjustment, you can slide the AccessPORT up, down, left, or right slightly so that the entire screen can be clearly seen while driving. The spring clip attaches to the vent very securely, so there is no fear of it falling off when going over bumps or during "spirited" driving.Vertical adjustment of the vent is no longer possible, but you can still adjust it horizontally, and the AccessPORT is positioned far enough away from the vent that you can still feel the airflow from the vent.My initial impression of the quality is that it's sturdy enough to hold up for a while.5
