Hopefully it wasn't used long if it is used. I'll keep this post updated as I'm too lazy to go through the hassle of returning it.3Good performance for those on a budgetI use this for my business which has 5 locations. 16 cameras each so I couldn t just buy top end expensive cameras. These give me great quality for the price. It s really unbeatable. I ve had a few go back prematurely but they are in some bad environments.4I would not recommend they get worse at nightAt night time a keeps running like red and blue and then there's lines going through it got video but I don't see no place to put it none of my other cameras are doing this just the 2 new ones1Good Outdoor CamEasy to install. The compatibility with TVI/AHD/CVI and CVBS makes it easy to interface with the different systems, even those where you're not exactly certain which format is required, or which will work best. Beyond the test use though, the quality is so good and price so reasonable I'm going to install several instead of more expensive single/dual interface cameras.5Poor quality night vision, quit working after three days.This camera has some nice features. It was relatively easy to setup, although getting it in focus took some time; I would up tweaking both the zoom and the focus to get in zeroed in. However, the night vision was terrible, being grainy almost to the point of being useless. About three days after I installed it, it quit working altogether. Mounted on a slanted box since I mounted it to be under eave and to make adjustments easier to use.5Excellent buy, great picture, great night vision, outstanding quality of construction I purchased this analog camera to suppliment my 20+ cameras around my property because it has some interesting features. First, an easy to adjust focus. Most of my other cameras have a fixed focus that can not be adjusted. This camera has a focus adjustment that is easy to access. Second, this camera has a manual optical zoom. The zoom is very powerful, I expected maybe a 3 to 1 zoom, but this is much much stronger. I first set it up with the zoom adjusted as far as it could go because the intersection is probably 40 feet from the camera. I ended up zoomed in on a patch of grass. I then decided to back it off all the way and turn the screw about a quarter turn, then played with it slightly till I had the result I wanted. Because this is an optical zoom, the quality of the picture does not degrade when you zoom in. I was impressed with this feature as you might be able to tell from my praising of it. :-)The camera is bigger and heavier than I expected. I have other dome cameras that are about half this cameras size and no where near the quality of construction. The camera itself is encased in a metal ball. It is very well made and I expect it will last me many years.Because of the cameras size, weight and adjustments to zoom and focus you need to make, I suggest the install be a two person project. I installed this camera by myself while I was home alone. I really wished I had a second set of hands while mounting it and I did a lot of adjusting, running in the house, looking at the results of my adjustments and then running back out to make more adjustments. Do yourself a favor and get a buddy to help you. It can be installed by one person, but two is better.Picture quality, daytime color and night vision are all excellent. For the price, I don't see you finding a better dome camera!5Satisfied enough to purchase more.I have had this camera now for about 3 weeks and after resolving a connection issue with the BNC cable set (ground), i am very satisfied with the clarity both during daytime and night mode with IR. Easy to set up, easy to install. Not as high a profile as larger or bullit cameras. I intend to purchase more as part of a system upgrade. Connection issue seems to be common but easily fixed.
